We've been eager to try the wood-fired pizza place in our home area, but haven't had the chance, so we were happy to see one on vacation. Unfortunately it wasn't what we expected. The biggest pizza they have is only a 14 inch. It just wasn't very good and the crust was very soft in some places and completely charred in others, which made it feel like eating charcoal. One of the waitresses kept visiting with the guy at the next table, who was possibly her boyfriend. At one point, a manager even came over to tell her to tend to a table. I'm sure the people at her tables didn't appreciate her not being around much. Then I saw her smiling and laughing with a family at another table, but as soon as she turned around and walked away, her smile immediately turned to a look of annoyance, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. If she had been our waitress and I saw that behavior, we would have walked out. She doesn't realize her actions can affect other customers, not just her own. The prices weren't bad, but for what we paid, it would have been nice to get a pizza larger than a 14 inch. Even though we didn't think it was very good pizza, we won't let it stop us from trying other wood-fired pizza restaurants in the future.
