The rooms were very clean, even drawers and cabinets were spotless. Room seemed to be recently updated with new carpet and paint. Furniture was in excellent condition too though bed was way too hard for my liking. Plenty of space in the two bedroom, two bath unit we stayed in.
Resort consists of two four-story buildings and a dozen or so pedestal homes. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit in building two on the third floor. View of the mountains was beautiful and balcony was quite large. The pedestal homes did not look like they had views but had more privacy and backed up to the woods.
Landscaping throughout the resort was beautiful. Requests were handled quickly.
We enjoyed the aquarium in Gatlinburg and loved the smokey mountain national park. The scenery is just breathtaking with streams, flowers, waterfalls, and gorgeous mountain vistas everywhere. Wildlife is abundant. Gatlinburg has a quaint, alpine village feel while Pigeon Forge with its six lane highway has a more Branson or Vegas like feel. We would stay here again as it is tucked into the woods on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of the strip but is still convenient to everything.
