We stayed in 2 cabins behind the property. They are nice enough but there aren't really any windows so when you are in there you pretty much have to keep the door open to have much light or not feel closed in. The grounds were completely dead this time of year. We did have some noise issues - workers and late night guests walking around the cabin area. Also, there is a rooster across the street that crows for hours in the early morning. The property is in a good overall location to the shops and market days in Boerne. I just wasn't overly impressed and probably would not stay here again. I also felt the cost was high for the value.

We drove to Bourne, TX. for my brother's wedding. We found the Ye Kendell Inn and fell in love with it. It had so much history and was beautifully decorated with antiques. I felt like I was living in another date and time. The service was outstanding. We paid $150.00 for the night. I think it was well worth the experience.

We just returned from a 4 day trip through the Texas Hill Country. While in Boerne, we spent two nights at the Inn. It was nice, but I don't feel it was really worth the $161 a night per room which we paid. We stayed in the Garden Courte and had adjoining rooms which was handy. Most of the information I had on the Inn was from the website which, I guess, was out of date as it shows a "Coffee Cafe" which no longer exists. It is now the Tavern 128. We had planned to eat dinner at the Limestone Grill on our first night there, but after looking at the menu when we went looking for the Coffee Cafe, did not really find anything that appealed to us. Although the cost was not the reason we did not eat there, the prices were high. The big plus is that the Inn is located right off of Main Street so the shopping was in walking distance. Our rooms were very quiet, though that could have been because we were about the only guests since it was in the middle of the week.
