This hotel is absolutely lovely - everything a hotel should be.
The lobby is tasteful and welcoming. With the fireplace and comfy couches and chairs, I felt as if I was in my own living room.
The service is outstanding, but not in an overbearing way. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable with service that is too attentive, but the Mansion staff knows how to make you feel like a valued guest without going too far. They are willing to assist you with anything you might need.
The room is very, very large. I stayed in a Deluxe King, but it almost felt like a suite. There is a huge marble bathroom, a king-sized bed and a sitting area that includes a small balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable. The amenities - in glass bottles rather than plastic, which was a nice touch - were excellent. The only drawback to the room was that there was no flat-screen television, which is something I've become accustomed to in my travels.
I ate at the restaurant and utilized the hotel's catering services for an evening event. I was concerned that I would be disappointed, as the Mansion has just lost their chef to the recently opened Ritz-Carlton. Not so. The food was outstanding, possibly the best I have had in a hotel.
All around wonderful!
