We stayed 2 nights at the Granny Hein cottage and had the best personal service from owners, Kate & Skip that we have ever experienced. I will try to give a quick review of what made our stay so special.

The cottage was so clean and well cared for. The kitchen & fridge was stocked with drinks, snacks and special treats. We received daily deliveries of home baked breads & cookies! We celebrated our anniversary and received a special dessert to enjoy along with a sweet card.

Skip made sure to greet us and provide us all the info we needed to have a enjoyable and relaxing stay. The backyard was so peaceful and the hot tub on the screened in patio helped us relax even more!

We picked a couple of movies from Kate & Skip's provided list and received them along with popcorn for our pleasure!

Skip & Kate made it super easy to communicate all our needs and they responded promptly! We could tell that they took extra care to think of everything that might be needed and had it for our convenience.

We would recommend their cottage to all. We look forward to going back to Fredericksburg just so we can stay in this peaceful little place !

My new hubband and I stayed at 'My Little House' and we absolutely loved it. The attention to detail Kate and Skip give the little home is spectacular. We enjoyed the fresh baked bread, cookies and chocolate cake. The stocked fridge and books were welcoming too. After a beautiful wedding in the Fredericksburg area, we were so tired, but the little house was a perfect place to relax. The hot tub massaged our backs and the comfy king size bed allowed us to sleep in late. The morning of departure we found fresh cinnamon rolls and a sweet note from Kate and Skip waiting for us on the porch.

While we never met Kate in Skip in person because of the crazy wedding hours, they were excellent hosts and gave us much prvacy.

We are looking forward to spending many anniversaries there in years to come.

If the Four Seasons Hotel were to expand to include a quaint B&B, the 2 Wee Cottages would be it! The same attention to serivce and ammenities is available as an affordable luxury.

My husband and I recently stayed at 2 Wee Cottages for our 5-year anniversary. Skip and Kate went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay one we would remember for a lifetime. The second we mentioned we were headed to Enchanted Rock, Skip brought by binoculars and water bottles for our hike.

During our time at "My Little House" we enjoyed reading a book in the butterfly garden as well as watching the squirrels and birds play just outside our breakfast nook.

Breakfast, as well as the evening "treats" were amazing. We still had food for days after we left!

The property was quiet and seculeded, yet close enough to Main Street to experience all Fredericksburg has to offer.

Our time there was special. Your quiet care was appreciated and we know that you spent a lot of time preparing for our stay. The accommodations were so very nice and the quietness was very relaxing. Our stay was a memory maker and one that we shall repeat in the future.
