My DH and I needed a couple days of peace & quiet. We stayed at the Cottalges at Limestone on Main. Joe & Carol were very gracious and friendly hosts! The room could NOT have been cleaner! It was immaculate, which is always a must for me. The room looked nicer than the pics on the web and you could see all the attention to detail wheverver you looked. Right after we arrived, Carol brought us a couple of cookies right out of the oven! Joe spent a few moments giving us information on the surrounding area. They are extremely helpfu. but not intrusive in the least! Both mornings we were served a delicious and large breakfast. The coffee was wonderful as well! The way these cottages are located, any one of them would feel quite private. They have done a wonderful job making this property very private and comfortable. We cannot wait to go back! This is a sonderful spot for a quiet escape! We highly recommend The Cottages at Limestone on Main!! Its the perfect place when visiting Fredericksburg, Texas!

We enjoyed the stay tremendously - the food, the quiet, the hosts. the, oh so comfortable cottage. We will be back.

We stayed at Cottages at Limestone on Main last weekend and it was an exquisite B&B. The breakfasts are superb, 3 courses – egg dishes made with fresh herbs from the garden, fruit, baked goods made that morning, the darling touch of a frozen pomegranate juice star in the orange juice (I'm stealing this one for my future guests!) and the perfect pot of coffee. We also enjoyed the king bed with its wonderful linens, the whirlpool tub and the overall attention to detail. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the area outside the cottage was lovely as well. We liked being able to walk into town and the attractions – but just so others know - it is a bit of a walk, they are 7 good sized blocks. We aren’t planning our next trip to Fredericksburg yet, when we do we’ll definitely look to see if one of Carol and Joe’s cottages are available.

This was the first Bed and Breakfast that we had ever stayed in and I think it spoiled us for the future. Joe and Carol were so sweet and welcoming. Carol showed us to our cottage and gave us all the important information we needed, then left us to enjoy our weekend getaway. When breakfast arrived promptly the next morning, I thought to myself, "I could get used to this!" Perfectly poached Eggs Benedict with pesto cottage potatoes and a glass of OJ, chilled by a frozen Lone star of pomegranate juice was the perfect way to start my morning. I'm recommending this cozy B&B to all my friends and family and we will definitely head back next year! The only question I will have is "Ooooh, what are they going to serve us this time?!"
