We spent a wonderful long weekend at the Das Keidel Inn in mid-July. There were four couples and one baby and the house worked perfectly for our group. The rooms were very comfortable and decorated beautifully. Fred and Gloria have a wonderful shop at the end of the main street and their home is a reflection of their great taste!
The Inn is located in a perfect spot - great walking access to shops and restaurants and very easy to get to by car.
Fred and Gloria could not have been nicer - we stayed up late laughing and playing games and hope we didn't disturb them! The breakfast was great - hot and homemade each morning and always something different. I hear there are several B+B's in town that don't truly make breakfast, but this is not one of them!
The Inn is perfect for a large family or a group of friends - we had the run of the place. There are two mini-fridges and a microwave so you can have access to drinks and snacks. We had two bathrooms in the main house and access to a third if needed - it worked fine for the 8 adults with a little bit of planning.
We planned our reservation easily via phone and email and Fred was very accomodating with some last-minute travel changes. Don't miss this great spot!
