My fiance and I stayed in the Aspen Room at the Queen Anne B&B over Easter weekend. The house was so beautiful! I had already seen pictures of the house and room from the web site, but being there in person was even better. From the cute front porch area, to the elegant dining room, to the rustic kitchen.....it was all perfect. The backyard has a huge deck area, where we relaxed after dinner. There was also a hot tub in the backyard, but we did not use it. Maybe next time!
The Aspen Room boasts the largest bathroom in the B&B with a jacuzzi tub. There is no standing shower, but there is a handheld shower spray in the tub. I really appreciated having extra room in the bathroom, especially with the bench, so that we could place our luggage somewhere. The room itself has a wall-mounted plasma television, which was a big plus! We also enjoyed the comfort of the sleep number bed. In addition, our room has a door that gives you direct access to the backyard/deck area, so that was convenient as well.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The food was delicious, and the cooking/cleaning staff was so nice and helpful. Our room was next to the kitchen, so I could hear breakfast being prepared very early in the morning. My fiance did not really appreciate the noise, since he prefers to sleep in, but it was helpful for me so I did not miss breakfast!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and are looking forward coming back to the Queen Anne or trying out another Absolute Charm property.
