It is so hard to find a place that: 1) Pleases her 2) Pleases him 3) Has great food 4) Has over the top ambience of the Old West 5) Has such majestic views and last but not least 6) Has such receptive and warm owners/host.
BUT Trois Estates accomplishes ALL of these 6 items AND then some. There is literally something for everyone at Trois Estate.
The staff made sure we were taken care of, that our room (Bella) was warm (there was an unusual high wind storm with very low temperatures the weekend we stayed) and that we enjoyed the dinner and the play. The cost of dinner and the play are not included in the price of the room BUT the one man "production" of "Bah Humbug" by Damian Gillen was SO worth seeing. The stage area is reminiscent of an old saloon hall. Very intimate with the other guest. SO holiday-ish with the cold stormy weather outside and the warm food, drink, and company on the inside. I can honestly say it has literally put my husband and I in the Christmas spirit.
Do NOT miss out on any opportunity to stay at the Trois Estate.
We are booked already for the 2nd weekend in April 2008.
We plan to stay, at the minimum of twice a year, from this point forward.
Trois Estate can't get any better - BUT they are adding on more "adobes" to accommodate the weddings held here.
If Trois Estates had been in place 25 years ago - this is the place we would have been married at.
Book ahead as early as possible. There are few rooms here, which make it so very enjoyable and intimate.
HINT: Bring slippers for your feet. As I wrote earlier, it's just like the old old west and the floors are concrete...no rugs, no carpeting. (And on that note, the slippers are about the only thing you will need as a couple while in your room! Wink Wink!!)

I had a good time when we stayed here. We stayed in the bridal suite. Big room with lots of furniture in it. Couple of things about this place--There are no locks on the doors. Try to have the owners give you a tour of their home. This was offered when we were there and their house is pretty spectacular. The breakfast served the next morning was very good. Lots of construction going on when we were there though. Chapel is pretty; grotto was very unique.

My wife and I traveled her for our second trip to Trois for 07-07-07. As usual we had a impecable 5 course dinner overlooking Enchanted Rock, watched both sunrise and sunset on the roof-top veranda, had a blessing ceremony with Rebecca Trois herself. For the second time we both completely enjoyed the entire experience. I would reccomend trying this place once to any family member or friend, and I guarentee you return!

What can possibly explain what awaits you at Trois..the entire place is full of a magical healing energy. I can not understand what kind of person would not love this place, but I dare say they are not in touch with the important things in life. Rebecca and her family has created this oasis from their bare hands and you can feel the love and calm wash over you as you arrive. My husband and I were married here..Rebecca officiated the wedding in the gorgeous underground church on the property, and we finished the ceremony by having the wedding party place candles into the stunning grotto pool adjoining the church. The service is unlike that of any bed and breakfast we have ever attended (and I have been staying at B&B's all over the world), the food is to die for, the suites enchanting (and between our families we have stayed in them all). You can arrange private swims in the grotto throughout your stay, hike enchanted rock, receive spa treatments, or just enjoy the quiet surrounding of Trois's grounds. We will continue to drive any length throughout our lives to continue to revisit and replenish in this place, and I truly hope you will too. Blessings!
