Most unusually, I read the flier that I was given in the street, was attracted by the menu so decided to try Bonterra and I was very pleased we did.
Bonterra is just on the West side of Fredericksberg in a building that looks like someone's house. We ate outside (there is a choice) and enjoyed our meal overlooking the trees.
Food was excellent - to me a mixture of New Orleans meets South West. The Quail Ettouffe that I had as an appetiser was absolutely first class, and both my main course of duck and my wife's seafood pasta were excellent. The wine list was reasonably priced and even the coffee to wash the meal down was excellent.
All told a wonderful meal - that I would recommend to anyone visiting Fredericksburg.
