Lovely clean place, in nice quiet residential neighborhood of south of bustling downtown Fredericksburg.
The place was a family-run operation and the husband/wife team were very friendly, cheery and extremely helpful.

They allow pets to stay there, which is always a bonus for us, as we travel with 2 lil' dogs.

The room was spotless, spacious, the AC system running perfectly, chilled to perfection. Rate very reasonable-- I think our total bill was $64. The bathroom was very clean, and the dressing area, lighting, and furniture was all well tended to.

They have a restaurant on the property though we did not end up eating there it did look appealing.

Fredericksburg was a lovely town, very clean, green and great history and architecture. We enjoyed our visit there and would recommend the Sunset-Inn to all. The owners are really great and really enhanced our visit/made us feel welcome.

This was my first trip to Fredericksburg. We went on a holiday weekend. Our stay at the Sunset Inn was most pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property is located a very short drive from the center of town. I was extremely pleased with my stay and the price was very affordable. When I return to the area I will not hesitate to stay at the Sunset. A restaurant just across the parking lot makes getting a good meal convenient.
The only thing missing is a pool. If you are like me traveling in the heat of the summer you want a place to cool off. But, overall my stay here was great. Meet some very nice folks also lodging at the Sunset during my stay. Lots to do and see in the area other than shopping! Be sure to check out Enchanted Rock! And don't forget Luckenbach!

Nestled between the large chain motels in Fredericksburg is the Sunset Inn. The owners are friendly and aim to please. We asked for a room far from the street and they provided their “favorite room”. Rooms with double beds for under $60 offer a refrigerator and microwave. Rooms are clean and the air conditioning works great. Access to a grassy “backyard” is a treat and the soft towels are appreciated. Next door is the Hill Country Kitchen where you can enjoy a home cooked breakfast for under $5.00. Enjoy Texas hospitality at the Sunset Inn.
