Whether you buy into the ghost stories or not, this is a fun way to spend the evening. You learn a lot about the history of the island, and the history of downtown Galveston. You don't get to go into many buildings, and most of the ones you do walk through, you could do on your own for free. It's priced high for what you actually get on the downtown walking tour. Also, after the tour guide would talk about a place being haunted, he encourages you to take pictures. As people took pictures, he stood in the back with a little light, creating fake orbs. This, of course, makes people think there's ghosts around, and they submit the pictures, which the tour uses to entice more people to take the tour. Still, with that being said, it's a nice walk, and learning the history of the island this way is a lot of fun.
