We were wandering in the hot, humid air searching for a lunch spot. Paco was sitting outside and invited us in to the AC to check out the menu and we were sold. Growing up in Florida, the dishes were similar to the wonderful Cuban food I have always loved (Paco is Nicaraguan). After being seated we were immediately served delicious plantain chips with little bowls of chimichurri and pico for dipping; so good! Lunch was incredibly good! I ordered pork tostadas; homemade crispy corn tortillas topped with succulent roast pork, cabbage, avocado, and a sweet pico. I also sampled a wonderful ropa vieja, delicious black beans and rice, and my daughters loved creating their own taquitos with a platter of grilled steak and chicken, cheese, fresh guac, black beans, and pico. Everything was so delicious and the service was excellent. Paco is such a nice man and very attentive. My only issue (which was a personal one, not their fault) is that we were wandering around town with kids and dressed very casually. I felt very underdressed as the restaurant filled up with ladies who lunch and business people! I can't wait to go back, though, on my next visit, but this time dressed for dinner!
