We stayed at the H10 Mediterranean in October 2011.
The rooms were super! We had a separate bedroom& sitting room which was good. There was lots of wardrobe space. They were kept lovely and clean!
No tea/coffee facilities in room - not a problem as I don't travel without a kettle! A cool box could be used (at extra cost) for keeping drinks etc .
The balcony was very big - with room for a good sized table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers. (& a clothes horse)
The public areas of the hotel were excellent! Having a 'village' theme there was a snack bar, a pub, a supermarket, a laundrette etc. as well as the hotel bar and restaurant!
The staff were all very efficient & friendly!
There is a bus stop just outside the hotel & the frequency of buses to Salou & Port Adventura was super! We never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a bus.
I feel that this hotel suffers a bit from the variety of nationalities that stay there!
1, The entertainment was presented in several different languages which slowed it down!
2. The restaurant had a wide range of dishes from different countries & this resulted in a bit of a 'hotch-potch.' But there was no need to go hungry!
Having said that it was nice to get away from the usual 'Brits Abroad' theme!
Also, Cap Salou has expanded greatly since I was last there (many years ago) & has lost it's village feeling!
We really enjoyed our stay & would love to go back!
There are self-catering rooms - which I would have preferred when my children were small.
