went in may 2008,had a not to bad holiday,the staff were great,the shows were gd,but the food could have been better ,some of the meat at the carvery was lovely tho,plenty of space for the kids to run around,and they had a big tv outside for the kids,the weather was the worst ive had abroad but hey what can u do,the cleaners were amazing as with all other staff and tiago was stunning as well as a good laugh,and very gd at his job

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children(9 and 11). We haven't visited Villamarina this year but have been there 6 times in the previous 5 years. We have always found the staff very friendly and the food has a lot of variety. Sometimes the weather isn't as good as it could be but thats the same if you stay in Britain. As others have said the rooms are a bit on the small side but you don't spend all day in your room. The entertainment staff are always very good quality, they change change from one year to the next, but we have met one (Geezer) every year. The star acts thay they have are different each nght and are also brilliant, flamenco dancers, the parrot man and a hypnotist to name a few. The hotel is away from the beach, about 20 minutes walk, but there is a bus service (free) from the front of the hotel that takes you there and brings you back later in the day. But I would say that being further away from the busier parts is good if you have young children and want it a bit quieter at night.

Are looking to go next year, probably Easter time, so please book me some sun.

stayed at the villa marina 26/10 - 02/11, had a great time. yes the rooms are average but you only change and sleep in them, i found them very adequate for our needs.
had a brilliant time at the hallowwen party, all the bar staff dressed up, even the girls in the restraunt with their whiches hats on. the security guard was awesome .
the entertainment staff, tiny, tasha, liz,adam etc were brilliant, they never stopped from 10.30am till midnight.
yes hotel is out of way but its only a 30min walk at slow pace, well we went into salou every day even when it rained and it did quite a lot of that.
will come again . well done thanks for a great time

two mums with three teenage boys just returned from villa marina.on arrival at hotel we were offered two rooms in hotel or a two bedded apartment two minutes away, decided on apartment as had huge balcony (hotel balconies tiny) so we could all sit together. All staff very friendly and welcoming, plenty of choice at meal times though we did have to wait for a table a couple of times,entertainment team work very hard throughout the day and night, we really enjoyed the quizzes which we won three times and the kiddies disco(not to everyones taste) which the boys participated in (from their seats of course!!) Thanks to Tiny for joining us on "the podium" on our last night!! Would we visit again? try stopping us.
