Stayed for one week at the end of April. 3 of us stayed in a standard room. The room was clean, pretty basic, and had a small kiitchen .
There was always plenty of hot water and the shower worked well.
The rooms do not have a/c, but I believe a a/c unit or fans are available for hire. Also it is possible to rent a comfort room, which apparently has, microwave, toaster, tv etc.
The cleaners, changed the towels every couple of days. The pool area at the hotel is very nice, and well cared for. May not be quite enough sunbeds on busy days there.

Overall I would say that the apt's are a good basic standard, not luxury, but ideal for someone on a budget. There is a small cafe bar on site and the food there was good and reasonably priced.
Would stay there again, as overall it was a pleasant stay.

One final word - the day we left one of the other guests, told us their room had been broken in to and various items stolen. But we had no such problems with security of our belongs.

Canceled a booking with Los Solmones in Playa after reading some of the reviews and this was probably the best thing we did. Tamaran apartments where well placed, a 3-4 min walk from CITA shopping centre and restaurants and around 8-10 min walk from Yumbo centre where all the night life and some other great restaurants are located. Around 10 min walk to beech although a further walk of around 5-10 mins to get to the sea over the dunes. The apartments where cleaned almost daily and bed linen was changed twice in the week we where there as where the towels. Reception staff was as to be expected and the pool was fantastically maintained, clean and tidy with plenty of sun loungers, a toilet and apartment bar/restaurant just a few seconds away. All rooms had a private pool view which was fantastic. Bathrooms had a shower; kitchens had two halogen hobs with all the necessary bits to cook and serve basic meals if needed, also had a large fridge freezer so we could buy ice cream and ice cubes to keep and plenty of room in fridge for water and other drinks. Apartments had lifts. We only cooked breakfasts as its cheap to eat out in Playa anyway. Down side with the apartments where no kettle or toaster(don’t think you get anywhere in Playa as a standard) also some road noise in the bedroom and some occasional noise from other guests but you get that anywhere. Rooms could do with a lick of paint in places. Other than that a fantastic well located and a great standard for the price place to stay and we would return again.

We have just arrived back in England after staying in the Tamaran Apartments for a week. From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and willing to help. The apartments were basic but clean and had hairdryer, iron/ironing board, television and radio. The maid service was regular and of a good standard. We enjoyed the quiet, heated salt water pool and together with the excellent food at the snack bar, it made our holiday FABULOUS.

Well, what can I say. This was my 5th visit to Playa Del Ingles and my first stay at Tamaran Apts. I had a great time. It was me and my frriend that just went for a week of whatever took our fancy and being based at Tamaran was an excellent choice - close to all centres :-).

We had a Comfort Apartment on third floor, which I would strongly suggest if going there book one, you basically get a TV, Coffee Maker, Radio, Toaster. I think you have to rent each individually otherwise.

We kept ourselves to ourselves really, just there to chill and relax in the sun - That we did!

Pool area was spotless, lifeguard on duty who tidied up at night and left the pool area looking just perfect.

We ate at the small cafe a couple of times and the food was good. I found all the staff polite and friendly at all times.

All in all if you are looking for good accommodation, Tamaran would not do you wrong. It's clean, tidy, centrally located on the main Advenida De Terijana (thing that's how you spell it) road with the Supermarkets near by, safe too. Tamaran has a small Supermarket, but just for essentials.
