I have just returned from a brilliant 2 week stay at the Green Garden Resort, From the outset the staff are really nice, always have a smile on their face and always willing to help right from check in to departure. I went with 6 other family members aged from 14-very old and it seemed like everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time. The room i stayed in was very clean, spacious and had plenty of storage. There were a few downsides though, the room i stayed in had no air-con so the balcony door had to stay open at night to stop the room getting too hot and the camp bed i stayed on was very uncomfortable and too small (my feet overhung the end). The food was average. Nothing special, but i suppose its not a posh restaurant so you get what you pay for. All that matters is that there was always ample with plenty of choice. The entertainment team did an amazing job, especially Rhuzzo. She was always happy, smiley and trying to get everyone to participate and enjoy themselves. Being 19 though, i did struggle to to find things to do during the day apart from the water polo. There was a prize for the best player and goalkeeper as well for the adult game which was a bottle of "champagne" and was a nice touch. There seemed to be plenty for kids up to about 14 but nothing for anyone older. Luckily there were some people similar to my age whilst i was out there who i could be friends with and occupy ourselves during the day/evening. The evening entertainment was very average. The entertainers seemed to be more interested in getting money from photos than performing a good show but the acts were very diverse although a few did crop up more than once. The bar also shut at 11 which was very annoying because most of the shows didnt finish til then so there was much chance just to chill out afterwards with a drink. It would have been a lot better if the hours were shifted to 12-12 rather than 11-11. The Thomas Cook rep out there did an amazing job and put all her effort into it. The resort as a whole is good but it isnt really situated near anything apart from the golf course behind. You have to get taxis/free busses everywhere. But Playa de las Americas and Los Christianos are great places to walk around and experience local life. Overall it was a great holiday and in the famous words of Rhuzzo "Applauso!"
