Me (21) and my partner (22) decided to have a nice holiday in Tenerife, so we headed to the Travel Agents. We wanted self catering, so Las Piramides sounded fab. On arrival to the apartments, the receptionist at check in wasn’t too appealing, and the lobby was very dark and smelt strongly of cleaning fluids. Everyone else who was checking in at the same time, were pointed to the lifts for their rooms. But me and my partner were sent in the opposite direction, we had to go outside to get to our room (103), and to which we were greeted with a rather large pool of vomit, not something I want to see on my first night. The card we were given to enter our room didn't work, so we had to go back and get another...after a very sleepless night from all the noise we decided to ask if we could change rooms. The rep wasn't best pleased when we told her we weren’t happy. But she agreed that our room was bad when she heard which number it was. We changed rooms to 2105 and everything was fine after that. Room 103 was a nice room, just the location of the apartment which wasn't, its fine if your into partying all night, but me and my partner are not. You couldn't fault the presentation of the rooms or the cleanliness as they were both to a high standard. The location of the apartments are good too, close enough to the bars if your into that kind of thing, but far enough away to not hear the noise. I'd say to anyone staying in these apartments who isn't into partying DO NOT accept room 103, or any in that region. Overall I’d say these apartments aren’t that bad, it all depends on what you are there for, and which room you get. I’d recommend the apartments to anyone, as they were nice to stay in, but I would pre warn them about some of the points I made above.
