Stayed for 5 nights from 9th - 14th December 2007 after having booked the hotel separately through Travel Republic website. Had a room on the first floor with a view over the pool. The Hotel is lovely and clean but as it makes up part of a complex, there really is no entertainment of any sort in this part of the hotel which is fine. You really have to venture in to The Mediterranean Palace and take part in their entertainment or sit and listen to a pianist in The Cleopatra Palace. As the receptionist said to us when we checked in, it really is only a place to sleep! We stayed B & B as there really is no point in paying for HB when there are so many places on your doorstep to eat! Breakfast was great, lots to choose from including bottles of water and the good old Cava to top you up from the night before. Any kind of eggs were made for you which is also pleasing!

The Chill Out Bar (on the rooftop) at the Mediterranean Palace is a fab place to spend your nights and is very Moroccan in style and romantic! The 2 nights we went there for a drink, it really only was couples up on the open top roof looking out over the resort and sea - this previously was a nudist pool, however has been made in to an exclusive pool area for only 30 people during the day at a cost of 15 Euros each - well worth it height of season I'd say to escape the screaming kids around the pool! The drinks aren't cheap but it was nice to escape for a wee while!

Not a lot more I can say about the hotel, it was nice, it's location is great with the Safari Centre across from it with various nice restaurants/bars and trendy shops and you can walk anywhere for this hotel - Los Christianos or along the geranium walk to Costa Adeje and beyond!

We booked for a week in the med palace but on arrival was put in the marco antonio palace, we were very pleased and could not fault the place in any way. every thing from the freindly staff to the splendour of the hotel was spot on. we will definately be returning and hoping to stay at the cleopatra which has wonderful sea views and is adjacent to the marco. you won't be dissapointed. there is a very good selection of shops and dining try biancos its excellent, all are just across the road.

We have just got back from the Marco Antonio Palace 24/4/07. We were meant to be staying at the Med Palace but this has closed for refurb.
Well i can not fault the resort or the hotel , both of them were out of this world. We stayed for 1 week on our honeymoon i didnt want to come home. The hotel is absolutely stunning as is the resort. You must try Surfers bar for snacks they are lovely as are the staff. Corner Bar for entertainment theres something different every night.
If youve booked to go here believe me you will have the time of your life, we cant wait to go back for our first anniversary!

Arrrived at the Med Palace where we were booked in for a week to be told that it had closed for three weeks and we would be staying in the Marco Antonio instead. Really pleased this happened as Marco Antonio looked a lot nicer and more modern than the Med Palace anyway.

We had a lovely suite on the top floor with own splash pool, As the room was also on the end it was larger than the others and had two terraces instead of one. Delighted with the room, great staff and service at the hotel too.

We were only there on B+B basis, which is great as there are many fine eating establishments in close proximity. Breakfast was very nice, couldn't have asked for more really.

Only two down sides - and this is being really picky - first is the pool area. It could have been nicer, set in nicer grounds, all sunbeds were very regimental lined up in very very close proximity to each other, so not much privacy at all. It was nice to escape to our own terrace and pool sometimes as it felt a bit claustraphobic down there at times. It felt a bit "Benidorm" rather than lounging around in five star luxury.

Only other "complaint", the TV (of which there were two in our room) was rubbish. We recently went to Cyprus where there was an abundance of British TV channels, however at the Marco Antonio apart from Sky News and a sports channel, it was dominated by German and Spanish TV. More choice for us Brits please!!

Overall, it was a great hotel, situated in the best part of Tenerife close to good quality shops etc. Hotel staff superb, especially the reception staff. We would definitely come here again.

We were originally bookied in the Med Palace on this resort but they changed us to Marc Antonio so we could have interconnecting rooms. The hotel is in a fantastic location well away from the centre of Las Amaricas with the seedy bars and right on the front so you can step onto the beach. For the shoppers the Safari centre across the road has a mix of designer and sports shops but no tacky souvenier shops.
We were well looked after by excellent staff and although we only stayed on a B&Breakfast basis you could not fault it. We could have gone to any of the restaurants on the complex for breakfast and they would cook anything we requested which is great when you have children.
The whole complex is spotless and I would definatley recommend to all ages (apart from you night clubbers)
