having recently returned from here on 21st december 2007,this place was perfect,cant beleive its only 3 star plus,like other reviewers have said,i have stayed in 4 star places that come nowhere near.we were a family with one 3 year old and a 9 month old and you could not fault the place,the complex is well laid out,spotlessly clean,very friendly staff,nice dinning area with staff who cannot help you enough,the appartment we had was right by the pool,cleaned daily.we went half board,and you could not fault it,fresh,chilled salad,then a good range of hot food,{i mean hot }not warm like alot of places,a selection of meats and fish freshly cooked by the chefs,excellent.then a good range of desserts.having visited tenerife several times,this was by far the best place we have stayed

Nice little complex with lovely pool. Kept nice and clean. Not allowed to put towels on sunbeds around pool before 9am so did not have the usual rush in the early hours and always sunbeds free throughout the day!! Did not use restaurant as seemed expensive but loads of restaurants in walking distance. Beach 5 min walk and great beach side facilities. Only thing that was a disappointment was there was no air conditioning in the room and although we asked if we could upgrade we were told that none of the rooms had air conditioning. Ceiling fans effective but not as good. Overall great value for money and lovely complex.

very nice hotel staff friendly and helpfull hotel it self very peacefull just what we were looking for .however neighbouring hotel very noisy early hours off morning due to rubbish collections and deliveries.we would go back but would not stay in g. h. or i. blocks due to the noise .fanabe is a beatifull resort with lots to see and do ,and if you want try the loch ness bar resteraunt lovely choice off food and very affordable ,located on the sea front.

I booked this complex via a friends timeshare scheme. I was actually going on holiday by myself for the very first time and I don't think I could've picked a more ideal complex. It really was lovely. The rooms were well presented and very clean. The rooms are cleaned 6 times a week. I was fortunate enough to have an apartment overlooking
the pool. The pool itself was lovely and the surrounding poolside area was always kept clean. There is a small childrens pool at one end which seemed quite popular for families with very small children.
Its a pretty quiet complex and reminded me a bit like a tropical oasis as there are some lovely palm trees & flowers dotted around. I didnt make use of the poolside bar or the restaurant as I tended to pop back to my appt for lunch and ate out every evening. The complex is litterally about 400yds from Playa Fanabe beach (black sound) although I didnt actually venture down there myself. The staff are friendly & the reception area is big & spacious. There seemed to be entertainment on most nights although I'm not sure how popular it was
as never ventured down there myself. The area where the complex lies is quite a distance from the "noisy" bit of Playas de las Americas which I was pleased about anyway as I had never been to Tenerife before and was worried I was going to be heading to somewhere typically "Brits Abroad". Parque del Sol is a world away from that and I must say I loved it and would definitely go back there again if I had the chance. As a single traveller I didnt feel too conspicuous - i just went out for meals early evening & headed back before it got dark. There are some lovely restaurants closeby - one that springs to mind is Gran Reserva, literally a few hundred yards away. The food is magnificent & I would certainly recommend a trip!!
