We stayed at the Island Dunes in May and really enjoyed ourselves. Everything about the condo and the people there was great.

The condo was very clean. Having one bedroom upstairs and one bedroom downstairs - each with its own bathroom - was a big plus for our group. The pool area and other outside common areas were lovely also.

The manager was very helpful. And the owners of the units on either side of where we stayed were very cordial. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

The ONLY thing that some might consider negative is that it's a block to the beach. It's an easy walk, but if you want to be able to see the water from your window, it's not going to happen here. We felt it was a small price to pay for the reasonable price we did pay and for all the other things that were perfect about the place.

Next time we're in Port A, we will definitely stay here.

Island Dunes is a nice condo complex in a great location in Port Aransas, Texas. The two bedroom unit was roomy and had a great floor plan. Many people could stay comfortably. The manager was friendly and the entire complex looked clean and well cared for. I did not have a view of the ocean, but the beach was a very short walk away. I would recommend this condo complex for anyone wanting to visit Port Aransas and not requiring an ocean view.
