First, I have to thank the other members of Tripadvisor for their accurate reviews of this great property. I made my decision based on your reviews - so once again - thank you TripAdvisor reviewers!

We stayed in #217, an efficiency overlooking the pool, with a view on the gulf. The room was tastefully done, clean and well stocked with kitchen things.

We ate breakfast each morning on the patio overlooking the pool and it was perfect! Calm and cool and you hear nothing but the laughing gulls and the waves.

SandCastle is right next to a beach entrance, so when you want to get around town, you can just hop on the beach and drive into "town". We took every chance we could to roll down the windows and enjoy the sea breezes.

The condos are also conveniently located within a short distance from all of the best dining places like Venetian Hot Plate and Pelican Club, so you don't spend a lot of time driving from some of the properties further down 361.

All in all we had a great time here for our birthday celebration and I'd go back here each time.

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights and we loved it! It's in the perfect location, right on the beach. The pool was awesome, definitely the best hotel pool I've ever seen. The rooms were pretty nice, average looking, but spacious and clean. Ours had a fridge and microwave and even an oven with a stovetop so we could cook if we wanted too. We had so much fun that we are planning a trip this summer with our son.

This was our first time on a Texas beach for a family vacation. We stayed in condo 537, incredible Gulf views. Facility is showing its age but overall was maintained OK. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It was Spring break week so things were hopping on the beach. There was a mixture of families and college kids (but nothing like South Padre craziness). This place was near the town and had great security, constantly keeping out folks without a resort wristband. The biggest drawback was that the pool was not heated. We expected that the Gulf was going to be too cold but it was disappointing that the pool was just as cold. Pool was pretty much deserted except for a few diehards. It was a very nicely maintained pool area too. I'm sure by May it would be perfect. Overall was happy with the resort.
Eat at the Crazy Cajun and Port Aransas Pizza.

Great place and location. Very close to town but right on the Beach.
We had the top floor end unit 1 bedroom which was awesome.
They do have photos on the condo website and you can actually choose your room after seeing it.

Tip: Eat at Shells right down the road !!! one of the best places I've eaten at in beach towns.

Pool was nice too.
