i've eaten Indian food all over the U.S., Scotland, England, and Mumbai. So, i've eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants. While this one is not bad, and some items are good, there was not one item I chose that was excellent or even very good. I felt that the owners wanted to dial up the spices, but perhaps it wouldn't go over very well in Round Rock. The flavors were good but dulled.
The plus side: the lunch buffet had an excellent variety. The vegetable dishes were the best I tried. The chicken dishes were quite dry -- each of them. The goat dish was very bony and tough to eat, but the flavor wasn't bad.
The desserts were also varied and good.
Overall, it's not a bad choice if you're craving Indian food but I wouldn't go out of my way to get to it. The person from London: try Dhonia's on Tollington (by Finsbury Park). Excellent service, food, and prices.
