We had a great time at Sugarbush ski resort. The Mad river area is less crowded than other resorts in Vermont. The ski resort itself has lots of runs, suitable for skiers at all levels. Ski school lessons were great and staff there is excellent.
There's not a lot to do around Sugarbush, but i think that's the main draw. its not crowded and its a very peaceful getaway. We did have some excellent meals at Chez Henri and the Millbrook Inn. Definitely make reservations if you're going here on a busy weekend.
