Hospitality, kindness, and comfort are to be found at The Grey Swan Inn in Blackstone, VA. We lived in area many years ago and stayed there July 12th while visiting friends. Christine and Jim were flexible and accommodating from the beginning. They let us check in early and check out a day early
without charging. We have not
found that to be the case at other B&B's. I could make a long list of the special attention they gave to my friends who came to sit in the parlor or rock on the porch. They are just the best hosts! And the breakfast was indeed lovely from the swan shaped butter pat to the rhubarb-cherry compote to the tender biscuit and apricot preserves and pumpkin butter. We recommend Jim and Christine's Grey Swan Inn. Stay there and see how many swan images you can find.
