I agree with earlier posts: this is not up to Courtyard standards. I have seen better rooms in hotels that are supposed to be a notch or two BELOW Courtyard. The bathroom, however, was large. I do think that the room television was the smallest one that I have ever seen at any hotel.

If you want a real Courtyard, stay at the Courtyard near the Medical Center, NOT this one. Or stay instead at the nearby, nicer and newer-looking Fairfield Inn (I kicked myself for driving past it after I saw the "Courtyard" room).

Also, check the local hotel coupon book. Both this "Courtyard" and the Fairfield Inn had coupons in it. The Fairfield Inn also has the advantage of being walking distance to an Applebee's.

Don't make the same mistake I did!

Shame on you, Marriott, for not updating this "Courtyard." You need to at least change the name to "Quasi-Courtyard."

Room was normal Courtyard. Clean, well-maintained, check-in was fast and no courtesy car pickup was available for a nearby appointment. The Women serving breakfast was very friendly and the oatmeal was good.

Ok hotel but the room itself was below my expectations of this usually fine chain. Hotel property somewhat older and a little rough around the edges. Cracks in ceiling. Loose screen on sliding door.

Stayed here for 5 nights and not pleased with set-up. Breakfast only served no restaurant next door but 2 within a block of walking or driving. Access limited to doors at either end of long hall. A plus was the free internet access and comfortable bed. Small rooms too.
