The staff of this hotel reminded me of the Ritz Carlton. I was traveling with my elderly parents and they could not have made our stay more pleasant. Everyone from the maid to the manager was friendly. I was shocked to be greeted and asked by each member of the staff I encountered how my stay was going and if we needed anything. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

My family stayed here for 4 nights during our children's Spring Holiday from school. Overall, it's about what I expected for the money. It is a convenient location, to restuarants, grocery and drug stores, and easy access into DC, if you know where you're going. We took advantage of the hotels shuttle service to the Metro, which was extremely helpful in our sightseeing of DC. The free parking and continental breakfast was also a big plus. The parking was a little tight, like another review said and the hotel is next to a McDonald's at an insection and on a OneWay frontage-type road, it makes getting into and out of the parking lot a little hectic, but don't let that one thing keep you from chosing the location. Don't depend on the hotel staff for directions to any of the local sights. We were very surprised they knew as little as they did about getting around in the DC area. Use the internet service on the computer in the lobby and print your own directions. I do agree with the other reviews about the hotel needing updating and being worn, but it was clean. The beds were not comfortable and the sheets were thin, as another review stated. Take your own pillows or ask for extras, theirs are pancake thin. If you're like us, a family on a budget and there to tour DC, it will probably suit your needs fine. We were only in the room long enough to shower and "crash" and we were up and out early the next morning, so we spend very little time in the room. If I were there for an extended stay, on business or really wanted the "added extras", I would search for something else.

This hotel is definately in need of an update! The beds were terribly uncomfortable, sheets thin & linens worn. The bathroom faucets needed some plumbers help; they did not work properly. The sink was stained (from wear) & although I think it was clean, it gave the illusion of not being so. The toilet needed to be fastened to the floor more securely. The hotel staff was somewhat rude & made it seem as though I was bothering them. I would definately not stay here again; a price of $130 plus tax for a worn-out 2 double bed room seems outrageous. I had higher hopes for a Comfort Inn; would think twice before staying at one again!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Falls Church and found it to be very outdated and worn. There were cracks in the bath tub and in the shower curtain from wear. The room was clean, although the carpet had stains and the bed was quite uncomfortable. We would not stay there again.
