This was our second year staying at the Orchard House, and we have already reserved our weekend next year!!! Not only is this B & B beautiful and comfortable, it met our every need. As a group of 10 scrapbookers, we pretty much stayed on the premises and the owners were always friendly and gracious. From the delicious food, to the charmings hosts, to the amazingly comfortable beds, to the hot tub............. this is an amazing value!

The Orchard House B&B was the perfect venue for our scrapbooking weekend. The 10 ladies in our group were treated to fabulous meals, kind hospitality and gorgeous the Virginia country side. Everything was perfect. Deb understands the needs for a good scrapbook working area - lots of light, lots of space and a never ending coffee pot. I can't think of a single thing that I would change. I would jump at the chance to come back again.

Loved the fresh cookies (wish there'd been more), loved our room (the Gala)- bed was incredibly comfortable, decor was countryish but without being so doggone froofroo and feminine that it would make us gag- which is often the standard fare at Central VA B&B's. Ceiling fan, in room bathrooms (wish there'd been a tub, but the shower was plenty big enough for 2), coffee/drinks right outside our door, in room snacks replenished daily...

Breakfast was excellent, but the portion was light- we wished there had been enough for seconds. We also didn't like that Sunday breakfast was so early- 8:30am, as the Innkeepers go to church. Honestly it would've been nicer if they went to an early service and served a later brunch maybe. Getting up for an 8:30 meal was not ideal for a vacation for our tastes.

Overall, incredibly good value and reasonable price... the Innkeepers are adorable and friendly, but not intrusive... and we were very pleased.

The Orchard House and it's hospitable hosts provided a perfectly balanced weekend away. Generating total relaxation and tranquility while also stimulating the senses through magnificent breakfasts and snacks, beautiful scenery, and interesting conversation, the Orchard House completely reenergized and rejuvenated us in every way.
The gracious hosts made it very easy to enjoy the environment and one another. From homemade hot chocolate after a day of skiing at Wintergreen to the delightful appeal, cleanliness, and romance of our room, we were very pampered, yet, felt free to experience the environment independently.
We would certainly recommend the Orchard House to anyone that loves simplicity and serentiy coupled with decadence and genuine generosity.
