I couldn't wait to get home today to leave a review on this B&B! Myself and four friends spent the weekend there, scrapbooking! What a wonderful place to do that. Deb and Richard know just what they are doing. We had a great time talking to them over the weekend, learning about them and their family and life!

ROOMS: The bedrooms were all fantastic, CLEAN, beautifully decorated! They provide plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, ROBES ....and Beach Towels for use at their hot tub and pool. Beds were super comfy. Rooms very private, with locks on the doors. There is a large fridge on the bedroom level, stocked with sodas and bottled water. Also a hot water pot for tea or cocoa and a coffee pot.

FOOD: WOW!!! All the meals were fabulous. Deb {and Richard} make some very yummy dishes, that aren't your typical menu items! {see photos} We opted for the full meal package...which included Dinner Friday evening. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday. So worth it! No need to do a thing, or leave the premises. Everything was served HOT and the selection was healthy and plentiful!

Scrapbooking Room: They convert the Dining Room to the Scrapbooking Room and it is HUGE!!!! With just 5 of us, we each had our own 6 foot table. The 6th table was set up to the side, and it was used for our cutting supplies, which helped keep our own tables clutter free. The room wasn't cramped at all, plenty of room to walk around. In this room is a mini-fridge, coffee pot, hot water pot, tea bags, cocoa and supplies (sugar, stir sticks, etc)

Other things to add. Plenty of parking out back. RIGHT off of Route 29, so very easy to get to. Hot tub was very nice and clean, easy to use. The grounds are beautiful, lots of nature to look at. The rest of the house was beautiful as well, though we didn't use the Living Room, or the front porch.

One of the Fab Five!

I arrived at Orchard House sight unseen and could not have been more pleased. Deb and Richard were welcoming and helpful, asking about the reason for my trip and offering help. Since I was looking for property to buy in the area for a home, their personal perspective and knowledge of the communities were very helpful. The room I stayed in showed many signs of thoughtfulness, including cookies, information on the area, tourist tips, and toiletries. The breakfasts were outstanding - straight from the oven to our plates. I have no hesitation giving Orchard House my highest recommendation and will be mentioning them to friends.

My husband and I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, so we weren't exatly sure what to expect. Upon arrival, which was about 30 minutes earlier than check in time, Deb met us and showed us around the house and up to our rooms, and gladly checked us in early. We loved hearing the stories about the house from Richard and eating the delicious breakfasts that Deb made in the morning. The rooms were nice and it was really great that each room had its own bathroom. We loved the cookies Deb put in our room every morning and being able to go to the refrigerater and grab a soda or a water whenever. My husband drinks coffee but I dont, so it was nice that she offered tea and hot chocolate as well for whenever you wanted it. We felt at home, we could come and go as we pleased, we could go straight to our rooms and be by ourselves, or we could go to the living room and watch tv or talk to other couples. We are already trying to plan a trip back and we wouldn't stay anywhere else, they made our first experience at a bed and breakfast wonderful.

Nine other ladies and myself went to the Orchard House for a Scrapbooking Retreat. It was absolutely amazing! Deb & Richard were attentive to all of our needs. The food was plentiful & delicious, the house was very comfortable, and the scrapbooking area was superb (plenty of room, great lighting). The grounds were also ideal, in that we could take a short break from our scrapbooking and walk around the property (there was a trail) for some fresh air. I highly recommend both their "It's All About Me" Scrapbooker's Weekend package and just staying there with your spouse. Our group will definitely be back! Enjoy!!
