I was 13 when I went there with my family and it was the scariest and coolest haunted house I have ever been too. I was actually voted loudest scream by the staff at the museum. I thought this was a great attraction, I was really scared. If you want a big thrill for little money, than this is the place to go. i loved it.

Because it's called a Haunter Monster Museum I expected to see some cool props and items from scary movies. Because we had some young kids in our group we did a non-scary tour...which means the lights were on. There really was very little in the way of props. Mostly holes in the walls where I assume things reach out. The Dino's weren't much better. Not worth the money. Wish we had done the wax museum instead.

For me, the best part of the experience was enjoying Mr. Cline’s warped sense of humor as he designed his haunted house and Dinosaur World. My Children (13 and 10) found the actual haunted tour amusing; it was not much different to me from many of the other carnival-haunted houses I have been to. Overall, if you have the time and want a little unusual fun; head on over.

Fun! But maybe too much for small children,

We spent the weekend in Natural bridge and decided to do the Haunted Monster Museum for fun. We didn't really know what to expect from it, but it was fun. First you have to walk up a fairly steep hill to the museum through woods where you will see some rather strange things if you look closely. Upon arriving at the museum, visitors are asked to wait outside for the guide. While waiting the museum building itself is a treat to look at with all kinds of interesting things like a giant snake coiling over the roof and a skull with a roving eyeball. There is a phone booth which says to dial 13 for your guide and if you do there is a recording of a frightened voice telling you to get out while you can. Our guide was a fabulous actor who really got creepy (a family going with us had two of their kids chicken out before even starting the inside tour and the third tried to run but dad caught him and made him stay!). Once left alone inside you have to navigate through the house while "things" come at you from under tables, the walls, and from around corners as you open each door wondering what's behind it. Eventually you reach the "dark maze" where you have a choice of trying to find your way out or taking the chickens door which leads you back out on the porch. If you take the maze (which we did) you are reunited with your guide at the end where he seats you around a seance-like table and asks a few questions (which made me really glad i paid attention at the start). The culmination of the tour is the revelation that you have been filmed the enitre time and then you can go around the corner to watch yourself and even buy a copy of the tape.

Next to the museum is the dinosaur forrest where you can make your way back towards the exit by walking through some very realistic looking dinosaurs (some of which even move!). All-in-all it was a fun spent $7, and I would recommend this to anyone with a good sense of humor and a desire for some non-educational fun. I will say, however that it might be too scary for small children.

For Seven dollars I Still don't think it was worth it. First of all we had to wait outside the house until someone greeted us. I don't mind waiting but there was no rhyme or reason to the way we were waiting outside. He was only taking groups of 8 but there was no que line. So people who were coming up the hill last were fighting to get in when he asked who was next and it got ugly because people who were already wating 20 minutes to get in were not pleased with people who just got there trying to get in. A line or something would have been helpful. It was really just a cheesy haunted house with it seemed one guy running the whole thing. I love haunted houses, I wasn't expecting a haunted house because it's called Professor Cline's Haunted Monster Museum So I was expecting a museum about monsters instead we got a sad hanuted house. Not scary for adults but small children were scared. It did get a little loud. I really don't understand why parents take their small kids to haunted houses anyway. They got you on tape inside ansd you can watch your experience in the house when you get out, it's also for sale(of course). There is also a Dinosaur thing to walk through which is fake dinasours in the woods. T-Rex at the front moves but the rest are fake, it's a nice stroll through the wood no one jumps out at you or anything. All in all it's just a weird attraction. Still not sure what to make of it. But they $14 bucks off me and my husband.
