We visited this restaurant in late January on our travels through Central America. We originally had decided not to try this eatery that night, but came back and were certainly rewarded for doing so.We were inticed to try the food by our waiter,Juan as he stood outside his shop inviting guests to try his food.It was a laid back atmosphere and fit right in with the colonial city of Granada.
Our party of 4 had the chicken breast and grilled pork ribs. All meals were cooked to perfection and the portions were more than satisfactory for both couples. The wine was enjoyed by the ladies and the beer and the glasses were chilled which was a nice touch for the men.
There were a few people enjoying La Claraboya the evening we were there, one even reading a book.It was a great place just to relax without all the hustle and bustle.
There are plenty of places to eat in Granada but if you like a friendly, quiet place to eat with great food give this place a try.
As for the lighters,as a non-smoker,I thought the collection was pretty interesting.
