I found Jacques's hotel on tripadvisor and was really happy with the decision to stay here. I wanted to stay on the beach but also be close to the D Day locations. Our view was amazing and the town was great. Also, our tour of the D Day locations did not include Arromanches so we would not have known about the Mullberry Harbors nor visited the excellent Musee du Debarquement. Jacques was an excellent host and the family room was perfect for us. My kids loved the wifi too!

Owner/operator Jacque was OVER THE TOP friendly and helpful. We were referred here by Adrian from Hotel Normandy, they were full, and this place was amazing. Beach view. Personal service. Excellent local food recommendations. Stay here. Absolutely.... Stay here.

1st time at the Arroplace but will not be the last. There are many reasons such as the views from the bedroom windows, less than 2 minutes to all the bars and restaurants, Not much more than 10 meters to the beach, Easy access to the other beaches along the Normandy Coast, 30 miles covers many attractions Pegasus Bridge, Caen, Beyaux, But most of all Jacques himself delightful and helpful host, Cannot do enough for you
Typical French rooms but every thing you need at hand.
Oh dont forget the free wi fi ideal for keeping friend in touch with what there missing

Upon arrival (after along trip from Yorkshire via Dover & Calais by motorcycle) we were ready to relax and chill out and that's just what we did Thanks Jacques.

Would i recommend the Arroplace Chambers Arromanches les Bains. one simple word YES. and that goes for my boss as well (and she is picky).

Look forward to another visit Jacques, Still plenty to see around Normandy and could not think of a better place to stay.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Arroplace. There are three reasons why you should stay there.

1) Jacques, the owner. He is very friendly, helpful and flexible. He gave us loads of great tips for where to stay and what to do. Moreover, on the day of our arrival he had been undergoing an eye operation but that didn't stop him from being amazingly warm.

2) The location. It's about 6 metres from the sea wall, and has sea views, on the main square. How can you do better in Arromanches?

3) The value for money. The room was excellent value, and on top of that Jacques gave us a very generous, delicious breakfast each day for just 6 euros per head. There was also free parking in a very crowded area of the town, and free wifi.

I would recommend this to anyone going to Arromanches.

Me, my husband and two children age 6 and 12 stayed at Arroplace in Arromanches from the 19th June to 22nd June. Very nice hotel owner very helpful and pleasant, ideally situated for beach and town if you do not feel like travelling to far. Great restaurants, everything you need.
It was nice to have a drink by the sea wall while the children played on the beach then we watched the sun set. Ideally situated for site seeing, so much to see and wonderful beaches be prepared for a lot of walking. Driving is good but have a sat nav, no road works, no traffic jams or pot holes it was bliss. Also use the toll roads but have your credit card at the ready this is the easy way to go through all the tolls instead of looking for change. Diesel cheap if you use garages in the village not on the toll roads. Found it easy to understand everything and communicate. We are looking forward to our next trip.
