My wife and I were cozy and comfortable, clean and close to this grateful town in Arromanches, France. The Hostess was very helpful and nice and our room was impeccable. This establishment, I Doubt will ever lack clients or praise. Thank you, Rob and Joanna Shor

This was more like a motel than a hotel. The acccommodation was in a two storey chalet style block next door to reception. No frills of a hotel and no nice comfy lounge to relax in. However don't let that put you off if you can afford the hotel as overall it was good (but you can't put good on trip advisor...).

I arrived late and the proprieter waited for me (I had told them of expected time of arrival). The most important thing I guess is the room and it was excellent. Comfortably furrnished and a fantastic bed. The shower was excellent and it was right next to where you park.

Breakfast was fine and a continental breakfast was appreciated rather than a stodgy fry up.
Location is superb being only a 2 minute walk from the town centre and beach.

So the verdict would have been 4.5 stars for a motel but should be 3.5 stars for a hotel as it's not really a hotel. And it is is a bit expensive........

This is a motel, not a hotel (e.g. no lobby area) but that being said, it is kicked up a few notches from a Motel 6. The rooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. The staff are pleasant though their command of English is limited. The location is not on the beach but is close enough that it's not a problem. Room 8, though on the 2nd floor (no elevator) and hence has a view with glimpses of the water (rather than the parking lot), is not ideal. Being at the end of the stairs, everyone passes your room on their way to rooms 4-7.

Room tip: See comment above re: Room 8 on 2nd floor.

We booked this hotel last minute and were most surprised at the quality of the accommodation. The rooms were very modern with good quality furnishings and finished very well. Glasses and pottery cups and saucers were a welcome change from paper and plastic. The bathroom facilities were very clean and bedding and towels very nice. A table and chairs in front of the room was an unexpected pleasure on a warm evening. The owner didn't speak much English but that didn't matter. Breakfast very good. Private parking in front of the room very good also.

Room tip: All rooms face front so no difference really.

We appreciated the opportunity to park in front of our room. The hotel is located a 10 minutes walk from the beach and the museum. Our triple room was spacious enough, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi was working fine. The only negative point: when we arrived the reception was closed saying that check-in was at 4pm. I think this is a bit late.
