As with previous post, we were very disappointed to learn that upon arrival that our room had been double booked. We were taken to an inferior sister hotel for the first night. However, the Manager was apologetic and left us a bottle of champagne in the room the next day plus a voucher for €50 for drinks in the hotel.

Apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the location. The food was of a good 4 star standard and the rooms very clean. One downside was the size of the pool but we tended to use the nearby beach which was superb with crystal clear shallow water going out quite a way and soft white sand. Gets busy but there is always room to sunbathe and swim.

The resort is mainly aimed at the German tourist but all of the staff can converse in English as well. A huge number of restaurants and bars cater for every taste and I can strongly recomend the strawberry flan and coffee offered at quite a few of the nearby eating establishments for under 3 euros.

It can sometimes get noisy in the evenings but the hotel in located at the end of the built up area so by midnight it has usually died down.

Parking is extra at the hotel but parking in the street outside is free and not subject to parking restrictions

When we arrived, the manager welcomed us then left the receptionist to inform me they were double booked for the first night! We had booked two rooms and both were unavailable until the next day. My main gripe was we only booked the week before, why was our booking taken? We were told to go to the hotel next door, which was great, then went back the day after. We arrived at our rooms which had a fantastic view of the pine forest and the beach beyond, absolutley amazing! These rooms were on the side of the hotel and, unfortunately, over the delivery area for the hotel and the bottle recycling area. This was fine, except deliveries are made at dawn and the bottle bank emptied in the night!!! It was very noisy, only for about 10mins each time, but still disturbed us each morning! Also, as said in other reviews, there are lots of German people, which is fine, but even cafe boards were in German! The majority of the Germans were early 20s, and although good natured were quite "boisterous". Certainly, the middle of the beach was too noisy with music and drinking songs for us old fogies! (45ish!) But either side of them was magnificent! And to walk through the forest to the beach on a hot day was great! I have had my moan, now for the good bits!! The staff were magnificent, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The location was great for the beach and cafes and shops! The spa was lovely to relax in and the food was the exceptional with something for every one even my teenage daughter!!
All in all I would stay there again, but double check I have rooms available! I would recommend it might be good to learn a bit of German to talk with fellow guests, as it can be a bit lonely being the only English in the Hotel!

We stayed in this hotel with our 21 month old daughter. Everything about the hotel was fabulous; the location next to a beautiful beach; the friendly staff who could not do enough to help; the delicious food; the value for money; the brilliant children's spa pool which our daughter loved and the hotel and island entertainment. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

This is a really great hotel and well deserved the great write-ups. The food is all cooked to perfection with a real choice of dishes. The service is second to none with the waiting staff friendly and helpful. In fact all the staff are brill ! The spa made our holiday as we had a couple of days over Easter that was really quite cold, so we spent a few hours just relaxing in the spa, which includes a pool with jets, a sauna, a roman & Turkish room. My husband used the gym, and jogged along the sea front aswell. The area is very pleasant.

The only negative thing about the hotel was the entertainment. Most of it seemed to be for the kids & was a bit boring. The TV has only 2 Brit channels CNN & Sky news. We did have a fantastic pianist playing for breakfast on our last morning.

Brilliant value for money and will definately return.
