Hotel very clean - I heard it's recently been redecorated. Lovely carpeted room with a bathroom with bath and shower. Balcony view out to the sea. Air-con in each room but didn't seem very cool. Maybe due to the time of year. Food very good and plentiful. Had a complimentary evening meal in the a la carte restaurant (although our youngest preferred the buffet restaurant so he dined there with some friends we met). Breakfast consisted of full English (decent sausages, egg, bacon and fried bread) plus the usual ham, cheese, croisants, donuts, cereals, toast, juice, coffee. Also pancakes and omelettes cooked in real time by the chef. Evening meal soup, salads plus various main courses, with a daily carvery and steaks cooked in front of you by the chef. Lots of tasty desserts and fruit and ice cream plus cheese and biscuits. You paid for any drinks.
Hotel has 2 pools - 1 outside and 1 inside with a jacuzzi. The children alternated between the 2. Outside plenty of sun loungers and chairs - no need to pre-book with towels (although some people did). Plenty of chairs and tables to dine at lunchtime from the lunch menu. Next to the indoor pool there is a gym with a few machines plus a table tennis table - all free to use.
Staff very friendly and helpful - some are English. Evening entertainment varied - Ill Divo tribute were very good. Bingo at 9 which was good fun (and I'm not that old). Others included Rod Stewart and Abba and the 2 reps performed a Grease tribute.
Lots of retired guests stay at this hotel - not many children for ours to buddy up with but this meant they had the run of the pool. The 2 reps organised a few day time activities but don't expect a full on kids club.
All in all a lovely hotel - you will not go wrong if you book this one. Right on the beach (which is ok, but better to walk 10 - 15 minutes to Cala Millor which has a better beach, once you get past the seaweed). Plenty of shops, bars and supermarkets.
