We stayed in a family room sleeping five. not at all what we expected, the room was seperated into two with a very tiny room with a double bed in it, infact it was more like a spacious cupboard. what made this room worse was the adjoining locked door to the next apartment making it very noisy to sleep especially when woken every morning at five am with their baby crying. the walls are paper thin and trust me we could hear every noise from snooring to opening cupboards. The hotel itself very nice, good sized pool, nice bar but expensive compared to the local town. excellent location five minutes walk to lovely beach and marina. The food was good but very basic and the child menu not good at all, alright if you love fish! Cleanliness was of a high standard. we did have an enjoyable stay but it could be improved we wont be going back, one very tired family after great lack of sleep...........................

We have stayed at Club Hipico maybe 7 or 8 times now and although only classed as 3* I would certainly say that it is on a par with many other 4* hotels in Cala Dor. It is quite small, but very friendly. The rooms are very good, particularly if you get one of the bigger rooms with huge balconies. The staff are very friendly. The swimming pool is excellent. The food is basic, but very good. Breakfast is the best meal of the day, with all the usual English food. The evening meal gives you a choice, normally meat, fish and paella, also food for the children. In the season they have entertainment at night. It is very close the town, beaches and Marina. We have stayed at almost all of the hotels in Cala Dor, but we always prefer to come back to Club Hipico. Small and friendly, can't beat it!
