This hotel is really really nice and to be honest deserves at least a 3*+ . We stayed all inclusive and to be honest we said on the way over on the plane we would probably eat out a few nights but in the end we only went out once for a chinese and thats because hubby was gagging for one. The food was lovely, some stuff were reheated like the sausages so we avoided those, for the evening buffet there was a carvery at the bottom of the restaurant and a section area specially for children with the usually kiddy favorites like ham, cheese, chicken nuggets, sausages, beans, and fish fingers. Breakfast are lush too and they even to great hash browns.
Most of the staff were friendly but i did have a gripe with the snack bar staff as they were abrupt and rude, but ALWAYS had a smile for the young pretty girls which everyone noticed and commented on.
We had the most friendliest cleaner who arrived every morning with a smile and a OLA!! rooms were spotless, basic just a fridge, bed, TV, bathroom and wardrobe. Bathrooms had a hairdryer in them which were great so dont bother packing one.
Pool was beautiful and clean, there is another pool close to the top of the hotel and to be honest the adults frowned upon the kids going in but i as we explained there was no "no childrens" sign on the pool and we paid the same amount of money as they did, if they wanted a pool with no children they should have booked a more suitable hotel catering for their needs.
All in all great hotel , great local shops but a bit out of the way travel wise from the water parks and attractions.
Would go back.

First time booking independently and not having used 3 star hotels for a good few years. So difficult to benchmark against other hotels of same grading but overall found it to be outstanding value.
Rooms: are a little tired on the decor front, but are kept immaculately clean with daily maid service.
Food: I would think typical 3 star buffet fayre, reasonable choice only a couple of dodgy nights when a 'plan b' a trip 2 minutes down the road to a local eatery was felt appropriate. The dining room was again a credit in terms of cleanliness with an army of girls clearing tables between courses.
Drinks: Not keen on plastic classes, but what the hell ! A little bit of queing in the evening, but again to be fair the hotel threw lot's of staff at serving and even at the busiest time it was no hassle. (have waited a lot longer at some four star all inclusive hotels).
Entertainment / animation: The animation team seemed to work as hard as any and the evening entertainment was on a par with many holidays I have paid a dam sight more money for.
Usual sun bed games but no worse than most hotels.
Staff: All most pleasant and helpful, even a very late email request for a low floor room was responded to in a prompt an pleasant manner with the request duly met on arrival.

Would I use this hotel again? Yes

Just returned from a 7 night stay at the Marina Corfu hotel in Cala Egos. We had an absolutely fantastic time and the holiday was great value for money!
We are a couple in our early twenties and were holidaying with our 8 month old baby daughter. The hotel catered for all our needs. There were lots of babies there and the hotel was certainly suitable for children of all ages (plenty of kids entertainment, mini disco etc, right on beach...)
Had never travelled all inclusive before and to be honest didn't really think it would be for me as thought food/ drinks etc would be lacking in quality however I was definitely pleasantly suprised. Food was actually really nice lots of choice and plenty for our daughter to eat too. Wine and cocktails also drinkable! We didn't even eat out for any of the 7 nights we were there so that just goes to show how much we enjoyed it.
With regards to location hotel is right on the beach which is nice. Short number of steps down to beach but there is a slope if you walk round hotel (if you don't want to carry buggy down). It is approx 10-15 mins walk to cala d'or marina which is lovely and a further 10 or so mins to a huge sqaure of bars and nice looking restaurants and shops in resort centre. I have read other reviews moaning about the walk but it is certainly not a chore! Also there is a square of shops, bars and restaurants only about 50m from hotel in any case!
As for the accomodation, the rooms were clean and there was a fridge. They weren't luxurious but were of very good standard for 3* accomodation and had air con and even a fridge which is good when you have a baby.
The only negative point I can think to note is that on one day we noticed that a couple of people had been stung by jellyfish in the sea. But this wasn't happening every day so I don't think it can be a permanent problem.
Overall, I would defintely recommend this hotel for families of all ages. Accomodation I have visited in the past that has been rated 4 star has not been as good as this hotel! I would definitely go back again as for the price we paid it was excellent.

We arrived with mixed feelings after reading some of the reviews on various websites but our fears were unfounded - we would definitely give our holiday 9.5/10!

We stayed in the Skorpios and as requested had a sea view which was beautiful. Room was spacious with plenty of storage space for the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child). Air con was very welcome as it was very warm. Handy wall airer on the balcony for drying the towels and cossies.

Beach was beautiful, sea was as warm as a bath on some days. 2 pools, one main one which was quite noisy and then another small one at the Corfu which was much quieter but also had a bar.

All inclusive was brilliant and great value. Yes, some days the food was not all that, but every day there was something to eat, even if it was a salad roll! Plenty of choice, vegetarian buffet, kids buffet, even chicken nuggets at breakfast!

Entertainment was good, our daughter enjoyed the kids club, animation team were friendly and enthusiastic.

Definitely need more sunbeds, it was quite scary when they were unlocked, people taking stacks of 10 at a time. They should clear more tables and chairs away in the daytime to make way for more beds. Impossible to get one after 9.30 so we bought a couple of lilos and used them instead.

If you walk into town via the back of the stage, it is only 1 minute walk away, lots of nice little gift shops, supermarket, chemist etc. Reception got us a Mail and a Sun every day so we did not have to go out to buy them (how lazy of us!!) Found all the staff very helpful and polite.

We will definitely return again. Everything was clean, queues not very long for drinks or food. Excellent!!
