We found this hotel by accident, and first impressions won us over. Hidden down a side street just up from the marina, the Hotel is in an excellent location. As we stepped inside we couldn't believe the beautiful decor, I think they called it Baroque, but it reminded me of something out of the movie Casablanca (Bogart's hotel) marble floors, period furniture, everything done tastefully.

There are only 8 bedrooms, but they go with the feel of the hotel, decorated tastefully (minimalist) but have en-suite and most importantly air-conditioning. The best thing was the room-balcony which overlooks the marina, and at night was just the ticket for relaxing under the stars.

It's quiet, but that's what we wanted, and close to all the maraina restaurants etc so you get the best of both worlds. We'd recommend it to anyone, but if you want to see for yourself look on the website, it gives a pretty good idea of the atmosphere.
