As family group of adults and kids I can only be honest in my review. The kids had a ball. The Apartments are well situated for local amenities, beach 5 mins away, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, all close by. The complex has 3 interconnecting pools, one with a slide, 2 Bars, one serving reasonable priced food – basic but good. The prices in the bar for drinks were very reasonable - 2 pints of the local “Campo” lager being priced at Euro 4.80 (£3.85). Around the pool bar / food servery there is a large TV (Sky Sports), pool table, football table and ping pong set up. There is a daily entertainments program. The apartments are VERY BASIC and vary in size and layout. We arrived to be told that the complex was full and they only had a smaller Apartment but we could be moved after 3 days. We agreed to this as we had no other option. Our first apartment was out of the complex and located down a small lane to the rear of the building. It was small, dark, cramped, very dated, worn out looking and smelled of damp. We were a party of 6 and the apartment slept 5! Go figure! The second apartment was much better, again very tired looking but much brighter and larger. Towel change every 2 days, linen once during our 14 night stay. Ants seem to be a problem everywhere on the complex so be wary with your food stuffs. Cockroach count equalled X 2 which we caught and set free well away from the apartment. Having paid £1300 for the 2 weeks in peak season (August) working out at £15.00 each per day it certainly was value for money. We used it as a base. The pool can become busy in the afternoon and often looked like Tourist Soup! The Staff are very friendly but the complex as a Holiday destination is below average. Noise is also an issue – Bin Men empty the bins around 3.00am every morning and because of the value for money aspect some younger teens / adults use the complex also returning noisily at all hours. A party of 4 French male late teens were asked to leave due to their noise and 5.00am return each night, drunk and noisy.
If you are looking for a “basic -value for money” holiday then this place for you – would say it falls below its 2 key rating. If you do go book direct with the apartments – you get a better deal.
Could recommend the Tropical Gardens Bar Restaurant for evening shows, for both children and adults (out of reception turn right, up street 250 yards then turn left down a small lane. The Spar shop just outside reception is great for Baguettes and essentials. There is a large Euroski supermarket located on the outer ring road for big food shopping – bottled water in Spar’s and Bip shops 75 cents 1 Euro – Euroski 30cents.
