This must be the noisiest place I've ever stayed in! Can't blame the management. The design of the complex amplifies sound along the corridors, so however quiet other guests try to be when returning late, it sounds like a football crowd. Rooms are basic and lacking any character / homely touches, although they are clean and comfortable. Servicing only every second day, so if you are unlucky enough to get your towels dirty or can't get them dry, you'll find the management a little unsympathetic and unhelpful. Aircon is payable locally as an extra, which seems a little tight in this day and age. Pool area is excellent, especially for young children. Can't comment of the entertainment as the only thing available in May appeared to be Bingo & Kareoke.
Cala D'or is an excellent resort though. Excellent for all ages. Would recomment Es Cauli Tapas / Grill on Ave Belgica - not expensive, but excellent food. Try the tapas. Almost as good is La Sivina on Carre Andres Roig. Beware of Barlevento. Poor service, rude staff and mediocre food. Only interested in packing in as many punters as possible.

Just returned after another great holiday at the cala do,r playa appartments.Have been going there for the last 4yrs some say boring,but we enjoy it so much.My son & his fiancee came with us this time,we had a lovely time.Great eating places especially,Marfils by the cala Gran beach wonderful food & so cheap,you spend more buying food to eat in.Another place is called Caffateria Plaza where the sweets are to die for.Be careful in the town centre as there are people hounding you to eat at there restaurants.keep away as you will pay the earth.Only small prob we had at the playa appartments was a dog decided to bark most nights which kept us awake,then you get people coming in late and dragging furniture around to make ther beds.Most of them don,t take there shoes off so can be noisey at night.well worth the visit,we will return again next May.

really enjoed my stay . the balconies were huge, with table and chares on them, our had sun till about 1p.m. then we went to pool. Plenty of sunbed. In centere of town. Enjoy

Ignore any negative reviews. This is a good clean establishment in an ideal spot. Good large well designed rooms with nice large balcony and in quiet area which is only a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants. Try the Hacienda for free entertainment and cheap cocktails. We ate out every day but the bar food was fine for a quick snack.
