WOW!!! Myself, my mum and my partner stayed at Hotel Leo for 4 nights in early Feb and we all wished we could stay longer. The hotel itself is very clean and well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful, not all of whom could speak English but still did their best to help. The entertainer, Maria, is brilliant very lively and fun and is fluent in English, Spanish and German. The entertainment is mainly for a more mature audience but we found it enjoyable. During the day Maria teaches line dancing, salsa, and tai chi. At night those who had learned the dance routine during the day would get up and dance. Also during the day they would have a projector showing a movie. Every night was different, Bingo, live music, acrobat and parrot shows. The hotel is well located with easy access to the beach and the airport. We did not experience any airport noise. Our balcony had a lovely view overlooking the pool and the sea. The pool was nice and big but very cold!! Only suitable for looking at, this time of year. There was also crazy golf free of charge .Buses stop right outside the hotel and are very frequent and cheap to either Palma or Arenal. Our room was nice and cleaned every day. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. In the lounge they have a smoking section. The bar staff come round to serve you rather than you having to go up to the bar. We had chose breakfast only but after having dinner in the hotel the first night we didnt feel the need to find anywhere else. I am a very fussy and plain eater but was very impressed with the variety and choice of food on offer. Dessert time was our favourite!! The food is served buffet style so you can have as much as you want of whatever you want. Breakfast was more of the same, lots of choice. Cereal, fruit and a fry up. The only I was looking forward to doing when I got home was booking to go back!!

We had a weekend at Hotel Leo for a cheap getaway to celebrate a friends birthday. We were 4 women and we booked 2 rooms through Easyjet. It was so cheap that we didn't expect much but the rooms were really clean and nice and we had adjoining balconys from which we could see the sea. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we were really impressed with the location, the beach was huge plus lovely and clean. The shopping in Majorca was very good and a short bus journey away. Yes the hotel was full of the older generation but as it was Feb we had expected that, but they were all partying and dancing the night away! I would definitely recommend the hotel and the area for a bargain break.

Basically at this hotel you get what you pay for. It is extremely good value for the money, do not go expecting champagne style when you've paid beer money, then you won't be dissapointed. I would say that the communal hallways could do with updating, but the rooms are clean and functional. The hotel is one or two minutes walk from the sea with plenty of bars and cafes within walking distance, it is not the sort of resort I would go to during the summer months, but in the winter it is ideal.

Again for the price paid the buffet was more than sufficient and the hotel itself was only 5 minutes drive from the airport. During our time there we did not experience any aircraft noise at all.

The only problem we had during our stay was that unfortunately on our last night we had some extremely noisy people staying in the room next door and they kept us awake all night, whilst I accept that this is not the hotels fault, we did ask to be moved to another room so that we could get some sleep and even though the hotel was only half full they said they had nowhere to move us to, so we had to put up with it.

We stayed at the hotel leo 1st week of October 2007 and had a great time. the hotel was full of elderly germans, and it was great, quite and peacful. No British larger louts. The food was really good but after a week of any buffet food you do get a little tired and would have been nice to try local resturants but as we had half board there was no point. We had a sea view with a balcony and there was a really helpful northern guy on reception who helped us with bus options to palma. We found the island delightful, staying clear of Britsh resorts like Magaluf. Loved Soller & Valdemossa, would defineltly return to same resort & hotel.
