bout ye, we wanted a week in can pastilla and booked this hotel mainly on price and on generally favorable comments from trip adviser and on sending messages to a number of reviewers.
We checked trip adviser just before we left and there were a few iffy reviews, I made sure I packed my earplugs

We spent a week on half board, it rained 3 of the days and the sun shone the other 4,
We had asked for a pool view room which we got, I wouldnt have fancied the other side as it faced another hotel and the front rooms faced the main road, on our side the sun set in the west so we had full sun into the early evenings

Room was fine but didnt have a hair dryer and the shampoo and shower gels were not replaced, the beds were made up daily and the room was neat and tidy upon our daily return

the hotel was very handy to the beach and also to the bus stop on the main road behind the hotel

Food was good and we had no complaints, menu catered for all european tastes as there was good cross section of nationalities

Pool was good, went in the first day, mind you it had been chucking it down and it was fairly cold, went in on the last day in similiar conditions and it was warmer in the pool than out of it!
On the good days the pool seemed to be used alot.

Reception area was modern and clean and the guys on duty spoke english and were fairly helpful , however everything seemed to have a price, - had to pay 21 euros plus 5 deposit for the saftey deposit box, thought this was real rip off. They also charged 30 euro if you wanted to keep the room on after 12 noon checkout time. A luggage room was available but there was no courtesy room for showering etc if you had a late evening flight

Hotel was handy to airport , taxi fare 15 euro single

To sum up , the hotel was clean but some areas could have done with a lick of paint, the pool was good, the meals were good with quite a variety, (cant comment on the evening entertainment as we didnt go, but from looking at the boards it seemed like your run of the mill stuff ) we would recomment this hotel as we had a good weeks holiday

Stayed here for 10 nights in May and found this good value for money and well situated in the resort . The rooms were a little tired looking but were very clean and we had no problems with noise from other rooms unlike the last reviewer - obviously they were just unlucky . We went half board as it was only £30 more than B & B for the 10 nights and thought if the food wasn't up to much we would eat out for that price - we were pleasantly surprised by the evening buffet and only ended up eating out twice in the evening - there was always something to tempt us .The buffet was also well organised and you rarely had to wait for fresh food to be put out - another nice touch was an area for diabetics and allergy sufferers which I have not seen in some 4 or 5 star hotels .The sunloungers around the pool were plentiful although the pool itself was cold at this time of year . The staff were helpful and polite especially in the restaurant and a special mention to Ana who spoke very little english but gave great service and made us feel very welcome . The weather was mixed at this time of year - 3 days of torrential rain rest sunny or cloudy . The resort itself is fairly quiet which is what we wanted but it was a nice walk along to Arenal or you could use the small train . Also very easy to hire bikes and pleasant flat routes for a non cyclist like me !!
All in all we enjoyed this hotel and resort and would definitely go back - it was well worth the money .

Well, we decided to book this hotel after reading the reviews here - big mistake - the room was, at best 1*. The noise from the couple either above or to the side of us, left nothing to the imagine of what they were doing!

The bathroom was extremely grotty, grimy and just bloomin' awful. The only decent thing about the place was knowing that we only had to stay one night!

“Great hotel, shame about the beds!”

Leo Hotel

We stayed here at the end of April 2008. We wern't expecting much , as it was booked via the net and was cheap, however it was really nice. Having visited Can Pastilla a few times now, and staying in several hotels here, this one is the nicest of the cheap hotels. The rooms were very clean, maid service every day, the food was good, plenty of choice and I am a fussy eater but found something to eat each day. The pool area is good and no queing for sun beds as there were plenty! Yes the hotel is full of Germans and Italians as mentioned in other reviews, but we like this, and although all entertainment is geared towards this, we don't go on holiday to sit in the hotel each evening! Even at the end of April there were plenty of bars open at night, though not many Brit bars open yet, however we found something to do each evening.
The only down side to this hotel were the beds! They were rock hard! I got used to them after three nights, but my hubby didn't and didn't sleep too well all holiday. For this reason only we would not return to the Leo, which is such a shame as everything else was great!

My husband, myself and our 3 children - 22, 19, and 17 stayed here for a cheap short break of 2 nights.
The hotel is so near to the airport, but you arent bothered by the planes taking off. The beach is a mere 1 minute walk, and it is a lovely beach, and the bus to Palma is a 1 minute walk the other way.
The hotel and rooms are extremely clean, and although the rooms are basic for this price you cannot complain. The only problem we did have was the noise from other areas of the hotel coming up to our room (1st floor) but you have these problems at a lot of hotels.
The breakfasts and dinners were buffet style and very good.
Swimming pool very clean and lots of sunbeds.
C'an Pastilla is a very nice seaside resort in April - might get a bit noisy in peak season, but we will come again, and this time hire a bike which you can cycle to Palma on - if you are energetic.
All in all a great family break away.
