The best thing about this hotel is the location, you are literally on the beach and the hotel is surrounded by two beautiful and very clean beaches.
Our room was reasonable, clean and view from balcony was outstanding. There is no coffee/tea facilities in the room, but you do get a hairdyer.
There is a shop in the hotel lobby which sells lots of useful stuff, like mineral water, newspapers and they also rent out beach equipment, kettles, etc.
There is free wireless internet access in the lounge which was useful, however sometimes in the evenings it is busy and there is nowhere to sit as the sofa's are all occupied by other people doing the same on their phones or tablet PC's. The free wifi doesnt stretch to the dining room or bars either, so you have to pay if you want wifi elsewhere in the hotel.
The dining experience at the hotel isnt all that. While the breakfast was fine, with your full english, fresh coffee, plus cereal and other contintental items like croissants, the evening meals were not so enjoyable. There was plenty of variety in the evening meals, but the food just didnt taste great. I tried lots of different food but remained unimpressed. Even the deserts didnt taste as great as they looked. In the week I stayed there I ate lots of food in the hotel and never had any tummy trouble, so in that sense the food is okay.
I was on half board and even so, you dont get any free drinks with your evening meal, they have a fruit juice machine, but they only turn it on for breakfast. When you sit down for your evening meal they ask you what drink you want, e.g. water, wine, etc and you have to pay for it. This isnt what I expect if i am paying half board. If you are all inclusive you will be okay.
The entertainment in the hotel was a bit hit and miss. The jackson tribute act was good and so was the cabaret, but everything else not so great.
We wanted to use the sunbeds in the hotel on a number of occasions, but like everyone else has said, this is extremely difficult, unless you want to wake up very early and reserve yours by placing a towel on it. However there is a sign near the sunbeds warning people that their towels can be removed by others and passed to staff if the sunbed remains unused for an hour.
Other reviewers have said there are lots of elderly people at this hotel, this is true, however when we were at the hotel there was a fair number of younger couples and children too.
Overall hotel is nice but not 4 star quality. Its mainly let down by the quality of some of the food and the fact that some of the things you would expect to be included in a 4 star hotel are at this hotel chargeable extras (kettle, drinks with meal, fridge, etc).
But despite these issues, it didnt spoil our week because the weather was fantastic, we had a great time at the nearby beaches just relaxing and swimming, and there was lots to do nearby, e.g:
There are lots of souvenir shops, cafe's and bars as soon as you step out of the hotel.
Theres a tropical minigolf course about 10 mins walk away - really pretty.
There is a place called Katmandu about 10 mins walk away - its a smallish theme park, with 4 or 5 attractions including 4d cinema, minigolf, etc, and its a nice place to eat or drink.
Magaluf is a 10 minute walk away and has its own superb and lively beach and vibrant nighlife.
Palma city is a 30 min bus ride away (only costs 3 euros each way) and has a great cathedral and some of the nicest shops to wander around in. We also visited the Hard Rock Cafe there.
Palma city also has a big indoor shopping centre called Porto Pi with some great shops too.
Have a great time!
