Fantastic location and great resort spoilt by the ignorant and dismissive attitude of the majority of the hotel staff. The food choice was very limited and sometimes appeared to be ill prepared. We both suffered from stomach problems after the first two days, so much so we decided to eat in the local town for the rest of our stay.
The hotel is located 50 yards from a large clean beach with good facilities (one of three within a short walk of the hotel). Although the resort is predominantly visited by German tourists this did not prove to be a big problem, even though most of the locals use German as their second language, their English is good and they genuinly appreciate any Spanish you can muster.
The town has a great selection of cafe bars and restaraunts, from inexpensive take aways to good quality value for money restaraunts. There are a couple of English bars scattered round the town (Bambooze will always give you a warm welcome) although we found most of the bars to be quite friendly.
All in all Peguera is a beautiful resort which in our mind was spoilt by the attitude of most of the staff and because we had gone all inclusive, the poor food.

Great location, rooms basic but very clean, food could have been more varied. Staff friendly and helpful. Only 9 English guests, everyone else German!
Town and beach very clean. Stayed 1 week, might have got bored if longer. Used regularly by rest of family. Would go back.
