we have just returned from a week all inclusive at Los Lobos Bahia, what can i say? the hotel itself is very clean and ythe rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, the pool area is great, huge pools and there is also a heated pool but thats as good as it gets.
The food is awful, infact barely edible, we went all inclusive because we have two small children both under three years so we thought it would be good for them to eat what they wanted when they wanted when sitting around the pool but apart from chips, chips and more chips there was not much more to eat.
Activities during the day in the hotel are few and far between with exceptance to archery and rifle shooting (my kids are 7 mths and 2.5 years) but in the evening it gets slightly better as there is a kiddy disco.
The staff at the hotel are rather on the grumpy side and will not serve you if your all inclusive so learn to pour a pint before you go

Just got back from The Lobos Bahia , the trouble with this hotel is

that after the initial investment made by the owners (the place is

huge) the upkeep is pretty poor, the rooms are cleaned but not

thoroughly , paint peeling from most of the rooms walls, the bath

we had was filthy and the shower attachment was barely hanging

to the wall, the pool area was filled with grotty and broken sun

beds. One day was overcast so we used the on site sauna,

couldn't share so my missus went in the ladies and said the

shower heads were thick with mould and made her feel sick.

Its a shame because the apartments have the potential to be

great place to stay.

“2 bed apts are next to a busy road”

This was our first family holday abroad- 2 adults and 2 kids (just 3 and 6). They apartment itself was comfortable and clean (cleaned 6 days a week), although the kitchen was very very basic and we used it for no more than breakfast and making packed lunches. However there are so many locely restaurants in Corralejo and all within easy walking distance from the hotel that it wasnt a problem

Having got up at 3am to catch the flight, it was a bit disappointing that our room wasnt ready when we got there at 2pm. The kids were tired and hungry and we had to hang around for another hour until we got into our room.

Another disappointment was the fact that we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment and requested a quiet one when we booked. When we eventually got into our apartment we were overlooking a very busy roundabout at the back of the complex. We were told by the reception staff that this block was the only block of 2 bedroom apartments they had. Walking around later- I think this might be an "untruth", but we resigned ourselves to it- but the kids woke early every morning with the traffic noise

Everything else was great- the pool was good - if not a little cold. Corralejo is friendly and has good choice of places to eat. Not over expensive. The main beach (catch the no 6 bus to the Rui Hotel about 5 minutes drive away) was gorgeous and the "town beach" was convenient and fine, although not such a good location.

The waterpark was good fun, and despite some reports, we found it quite fair value- same cant be said for the anilmal experience next door to it though- which was a bit lacking in animals!!

All in all a good first holiday and we would certainly go back to Corralejo, but maybe to a different hotel with slightly quieter 2 bed apartments (or we will just cram into a 1 bed!!)

“Excellent Choice”

Stayed in the Lobos Bahia for a week in mid-September with my boyfriend. I really cannot fault this place. It has the largest swimming pool in Fuerteventura - great for all ages as there is a quiet part and a busy part. We stayed in Block B right beside the main pool. The apartments were spotless but bring mosquito spray! Didnt see one cockroache the whole week! Bring plenty of suncream, it was in the early 30's in mid-september! It gets very hot around 2 o clock so a dip in the pool is nice around then! The apartments are about a 5 min walk from the centre of town.
There are plenty of amenities onsite although the only time we stayed onsite was when we were lying by the pool. At night time we walked into the town where there is a great selection of pubs and restaurants. The best meal we got was in a little restaurant called "Casbah" down beside the harbour. I would also recommend "La Trattoria" in the plaza.
If you don't want to go to the typical Irish and English bars, go to "Bouganville", a gorgeous little wine/cocktail bar down beside the harbour in the old town. They have the nicest cocktails I have ever tasted!
The Baku Waterpark is good but really you would only spend 3-4 hours max. here, kids would love it though!
We rented a car for a few days an went further down the island to caleta de fuste which wasn't half as nice! The best thing about Corralejo is the beaches!! "Grandes Playa" is a huge beach with crystal clear sea and beautiful white sand. Also check out the smaller parts of this beach further down the road which are quieter. The sand dunes are just down the road from this beach.
Overall, we loved Corralejo and the Lobos Bahia Club. We will definitely be returning here - great apartments, great weather, great island!

We stayed in early 05 but had a very care free relaxing
break in this complex.Judging by some reviews it seems to have problems now but regardless it is also balanced with other reviews.

Our S/C apartment was on 2nd floor overlooking main pool and was clean etc. Problems such as havng to pay for lots of necessities such as kettles, toasters,tv were annoying. No extra blankets in room so at night it got quite cool.

Water in pool was very cold so just a case of adjusting to temp etc. Complex is a bit of a leisurely walk to town centre but not too strenuous.Lots of different nationalities in complex from Norway ,Sweden,British Isles and just a small smathering from Island of Ireland from Derry to Kerry but very laid back and quiet around pool and late at night.
As we were just on a bucket and spade holiday we stayed around Correlejo for duration but hiring a car next time will be a certainty. Plenty of restaurants in Correlejo but you do miss quality cuisine which is hard to find in the spanish resorts.we tried 'kid' one evening but really could have being chicken.

so overall a good relaxing break and would recommend the lobos overall as we might return again this coming January again.
