“very quite place”

Lobos Bahia Club

4 Feb 2008

my husband and i have just returned from a week in Fuerteventura, stayin at Lobis Bahia club, i must say this is quite a large hotel but dosent seem to be cleaned very well around the pool and sunbeds, and most of the sunbeds are either broken or dirty.
The room itself i found to be clean, and the maid was in every day to clean. The kitchen was very basic, it took forever to heat the rings on the cooker, and there was no mirco which i found annoying would have been very handy.
We were on a ground floor and the patio area was very open to anyone there was no divdes between apartments which i didnt like.
The shop on the hotel grounds was very good and we found a much cheaper one down the street.
A word of warning dont go to the chineses there terrible ok if you like rubber chicken.
I dont think i would bring my children here as there isnt that much to expect to the beach everyday
All in all a nice hoilday lovely beaches but i dont think i would return, but nice hotel for couples

think we were at hotel the same time as last reviewer red32 and agree with all the things said. we were a party of 4 adults. the rooms were great (room 2108 block E especially good) pools good but would have hated to have to keep an eye on little kiddies ther as the pool depths seemed to change from one side to the other very deceptive. good kiddie pool though. no real entertainment for adults in the evening but ok for children I think, Some staff very pleasant but some bar staff surly and unhelpful. Food in main restaurant ok but not fantastic, no great variety chips chips and more chips. Lunch outside pool bar was a bit of a challenge, flies everywhere, salads not covered, serving spoons uncovered between use and if you had no bar experience beer that was very frothy and staff who refused to serve all inc guests. Would go here again but not all inc. Would not rec all inc to families with young kiddies as they would prob spend a fortune trying to feed the children, menu here just not suitable.

    • Disliked — all inc food especially lunch served at pool bar

we have just returned from a week all inclusive at Los Lobos Bahia, what can i say? the hotel itself is very clean and ythe rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, the pool area is great, huge pools and there is also a heated pool but thats as good as it gets.
The food is awful, infact barely edible, we went all inclusive because we have two small children both under three years so we thought it would be good for them to eat what they wanted when they wanted when sitting around the pool but apart from chips, chips and more chips there was not much more to eat.
Activities during the day in the hotel are few and far between with exceptance to archery and rifle shooting (my kids are 7 mths and 2.5 years) but in the evening it gets slightly better as there is a kiddy disco.
The staff at the hotel are rather on the grumpy side and will not serve you if your all inclusive so learn to pour a pint before you go

“You get what you pay for!!!”

Just got back from The Lobos Bahia , the trouble with this hotel is

that after the initial investment made by the owners (the place is

huge) the upkeep is pretty poor, the rooms are cleaned but not

thoroughly , paint peeling from most of the rooms walls, the bath

we had was filthy and the shower attachment was barely hanging

to the wall, the pool area was filled with grotty and broken sun

beds. One day was overcast so we used the on site sauna,

couldn't share so my missus went in the ladies and said the

shower heads were thick with mould and made her feel sick.

Its a shame because the apartments have the potential to be

great place to stay.

“2 bed apts are next to a busy road”

This was our first family holday abroad- 2 adults and 2 kids (just 3 and 6). They apartment itself was comfortable and clean (cleaned 6 days a week), although the kitchen was very very basic and we used it for no more than breakfast and making packed lunches. However there are so many locely restaurants in Corralejo and all within easy walking distance from the hotel that it wasnt a problem

Having got up at 3am to catch the flight, it was a bit disappointing that our room wasnt ready when we got there at 2pm. The kids were tired and hungry and we had to hang around for another hour until we got into our room.

Another disappointment was the fact that we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment and requested a quiet one when we booked. When we eventually got into our apartment we were overlooking a very busy roundabout at the back of the complex. We were told by the reception staff that this block was the only block of 2 bedroom apartments they had. Walking around later- I think this might be an "untruth", but we resigned ourselves to it- but the kids woke early every morning with the traffic noise

Everything else was great- the pool was good - if not a little cold. Corralejo is friendly and has good choice of places to eat. Not over expensive. The main beach (catch the no 6 bus to the Rui Hotel about 5 minutes drive away) was gorgeous and the "town beach" was convenient and fine, although not such a good location.

The waterpark was good fun, and despite some reports, we found it quite fair value- same cant be said for the anilmal experience next door to it though- which was a bit lacking in animals!!

All in all a good first holiday and we would certainly go back to Corralejo, but maybe to a different hotel with slightly quieter 2 bed apartments (or we will just cram into a 1 bed!!)
