Just returned from 3 weeks at this hotel. First 2 weeks were spent at Los Alisios with myself, partner, 14, 13 and 3 yr old and 3rd week at Dunas with my 13 & 3 yr old. I had to stay the third week as my son developed chicken pox and wasn't allowed to fly home. I loved the Los Alisios part. The pool is really nice and a lot quieter than the Dunas. The apartment was fine, plenty room and good shower etc. The garden area out the front was great with plenty of privacy. Maid service was excellent and staff were fantastic. We spent most evenings at the hotels entertainment which was on the whole really good and the kids loved the disco!! Gary is fantastic crack and a really friendly, funny bloke and his partner Nicky does a great job too. They have so much energy and always lift your spirits. The reception were fantastic esp Jane as I needed a lot of help and they were very obliging and helpful. Food in the hotel is good and good value and we really enjoyed the barbecue. The Dunas side is a lot livelier but not nearly as private as the apartments are so close. Also we found the inside not as nice as the Los Alisios. There are a few cockroaches but so what you are in a very hot country and you have to accept that you will get them and we never had any in the apartments. The location is great and there are so many choices for eating out. The harbour area is lovely and the beach is really nice around 5pm when it is quiet. We went to the animal park at Baku which was very quiet but it was a nice day out. The water park has lots for everyone. Didn't think much of the parque where the haunted house is as there is very little to do. All in all this is a fantastic place for a family holiday in my opinion especially as the cost is very reasonable. You won't be disappointed!

Arrived home this week after staying at los alisos for 2 weeks with my parents, fiance, younger brother and his friend (aged 15). I read a few reviews after booking my holiday here and we nearly ended up cancelling, but are glad we tryed this place out.
There were cockroaches around at night but didnt have any in either of the apartments that we book no. 7 & 59
as both hotels are now joint the entertainment takes place in the dunas side, and we found the day time entertainment rather poor, evening was ok with shows which included acrobatics, reptile & parrots. if you looking for a complex with lots of activity there is a squash, tennis and football court, and there is a spa & sauna but you need to book it a few hours in advance. there were plenty of sun beds avaliable but people do put there towels out from 9am on wards as the pool area is cleaned before. the staff here are very friendly.
the apartments were being given a lick of paint while we were there & the rooms were cleaned 5 days a week although we recommend that you take you own towels for the beach or for when you shower as they had a very stange smell.
also make sure that you hire a safe as there were 2 or 3 break-ins both day & night on both sides of the complex, and keep all doors and windows locked day & night- there is also a security guard the walks round the complex at night .
the beach is about a 5-10 minute stroll away & the same for the town aswell, good variety of restuarants that cater for all tastes from chinese, indian, mexican, grills & canarian foods.
good if your looking for a family holiday or couples only, wouldnt recommed this for young groups

Returned a few days ago from 2 weeks in Los Alisios. We were four in our party dad, mum and two kids of 10 and 14. We had a good time and the apartments were fine. We had a ground floor with patio, we had no trouble with cockroaches as we made sure the door was shut early to late evening to prevent this. You do see cockroaches at night on the walk home, but this is to be expected on such a hot island. The complex is in a good location and peaceful, unlike next door complex Las Dunas which has actually amalgamated with the Alisios. We found the apartment and the outside area of the complex to be kept clean and tidy. Cleaners, tidied our apartment 6 days of the week and changed the towles all of these days. The pool was good and clean and the poolside bar is open from 10am to 6.30pm.
Corralejo was a good holiday and the restaurants by the harbour do tasty fish dishes, we recommend La Playita and the Marquesina with good food and good waiters. We had a fun holiday and enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time in Fuerteventura and we will definately be going back... however... our apartments where very basic with a mixture of good and bad points -

Bad points: It is almost impossible to get a sun bed unless you are willing to get up very early and put your towel down to ensure you actually get one.
Pool bar quite expensive, supermarket is on site and is cheaper.
The complex is crawling with cockroaches at night. Dreaded having to walk through the complex to get to our apartment each night as our apartment was situated at the back of the complex and it was a long walk and also quite dark... so they give you a fright when they run out infront of you... or sometimes into you!

Good points: The maids came every other day and we were never short of clean towels and sheets on our beds.
The food in the bar of the sister complex was nice, never had evening meals there however but the breakfasts and lunches were good.
Large screen in the bar too which kept the men happy watching the football!
Pool was ice cold, though very clean and once u get in u heat up quickly.
The apartments too where situated very close to the town which we found great.

I would recommend going to the flag beach, it was super! Really beautiful beach and a local bus takes u there and back. Nice places to eat include: Tony Romas (the chocolate cookie dessert is a MUST), Fifth Avenue, The Waterside.

this is the 3rd time we have stayed on this complex and the fist time we have been in the Los Alisios side. I am pained to say that we will not be going back to the complex again, think its had it's day which is a shame as the Dunas Side is lovely and have never had any problems when staying there, but as in other reviews we to had cockroaches and couldn't siit out at night as you would get them coming up to you and on my husdands case even on him.
Also get ready to ge up early for a lounger round the pool other wise for get it.
It's a shame as all they need is a bit of money spending on it and it would be ok.
