Fantastic hotel, very modern and clean. 2 good sized pools, one heated. We stayed in one bedroomed apartment, very spacious. Huge balcony with doors leading onto it from living area and bedroom. We stayed self catering, although the all inclusive food at lunch looked nice, good selection. Didn't see the evening food or breakfast as we always ate out. Pool bar was a bit pricey but food from there was nice. Reception very helpful and friendly as were all other staff we met.

The hotel is no more than 10 min stroll to the centre of town. Corralejo itself was quite quiet, not a huge amount of bars but enough to keep us occupied. Lots of 'tourist' restaurants selling the same old food. Head into the back streets around old harbour area for better food. It was carnival time whilst we were there, and it was fantastic. Huge parades of hundreds of people in the centre of town on the final evening of the carnival, so glad we were here to see this.

Beaches were fantastic, some really beautiful spots. There's a bus service to and from beach/sand dunes daily, although we hired a car.

Overall the hotel was great, no complaints at all. Although if I stayed again I would request a pool view room, as we were in one of the far corners of the blocks, view wasn't terrible though, as we overlooked the landcaped area made to look like typical countryside. But would have preferred to have been closer to the pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay here again if we came back to Corralejo. Of all the other hotels we walked and drove past in the area, Las Marismas looked the nicest.

Just returned from a wonderful, relaxing week. We had a one bedroomed apartment which was very clean and had everything we needed to cater for our 6 month old son and young daughter,ie microwave, kettle, fridge.

We stayed on a half board basis and found the food to be fine considering the price we paid. All in all there was a good selection, and whilst not everything was our taste there was always something good to eat. Sunday morning featured smoked salmon and cava, not bad for the £100 or so we paid for both of us for the week half board, by the way children under 5 eat free. Didn't try the bars much, they seemed a little quiet, although we were back in to put the kids to bed fairly early. Staff were very friendly made us welcome, particularly good with the children.

Everything considered we really enjoyed our stay and would definately return and recommend.

“Loved it!”

We're just back from Las Marismas. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and loved it. The complex is big, with 2 swimming pools and 1 kids pool. I was only in 1 of the pools, which was freezing so my stay in it was very brief! The apartment was spacious, very clean and was very comfortable. The bed was made up everyday and the towels were changed every second day.
The complex has a gym (which I didn't go to), a playground, a restaurant (which I didn't eat in), a pool side bar (they serve food here at lunch time), and a bar. We only went into the bar once but didn't stay very long.
The complex is about a 10 minute walk from the main street but reception will get you a taxi if you ask them (they arrive in a matter of minutes). Taxi fare into town will cost €2.50. The girls at reception are very friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have a spa but you can organise to have a massage in the hotel (again, book this through reception).
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday than I think this place will suit you. It's so quiet there at night, no noise from
anywhere.
The town of Corralejo is nice, quiet small with lots of really nice restaurant. We only got 1 bad meal there and that was in a mexian restaurant (don't know the name of it). It's located directly accross from The 7 Pints pub in a shopping complex off the main street.. If your into chinese food.. check out the Slow Boat 2 restaruant beside the horrible mexican restaurant.. it's to die for!
Irish pubs: Check out Paddy bar (great live music & lovely staff). The dubliner pub is terrible, the music is awful (It'd put you to sleep). Rosie O'Gradys is a good spot too, they have live music there too.

“Great Accomodation!”

Had my usual paranoia about booking accomodation in locations I don't know.

Picked this after TA reviews. It certainly didn't disappoint, with accomodation being spacious and kept very clean (although they come round too early for me).

Shaped like a giant "X" with the pools and bars in the middle - If you want quiet, go for the end by the mini-golf.

Quite family oriented, with no real "quiet" pool, but only ten minutes from the centre of town, or they run a bus to the dunes.

Didn't go all inclusive as I wanted to peruse the food first. Looked in on every day, but it never looked nice enough to tempt us in. Enough restaurants around to eat with variety at cheaper or near the prices.
