I made a return visit recently, and a friend and I had the afternoon tea. It was delicious! So good I thought I'd share a picture. As we went on a Friday it seemed less busy, but people were eating outside, and in the original upstairs room, as well as the newly re-furbished downstairs 'Heritage Room'. The afternoon tea was very good value, with each of us having two rounds of sandwiches, a scone with jam and clotted cream, and four little mini-cakes each. We had a pot of tea to share, and a bowl of crisps to start with. The tea-rooms are run by volunteers and its a registered charity, so that make another great reason to visit. A delightful experience, don't miss it.
