The hospitality is unparalleled. The two owners and operators go out of their way to make your stay perfect and relaxing. From afternoon wine tastings to evening cognac and truffles, the thoughtfulness and hospitality go a long way and make you feel right at home.
Each morning, you are greeted with amazing breakfasts made from all organic ingredients. The beautiful grounds surrounding the inn are filled with great hiking trails, ponds, a swimming pool, hammocks, and swings, not to mention friendly golden retrievers and free range chickens. One half of the inn is an historic 1770s Inn with two bedrooms on the second floor and rustic dining rooms below. We stayed in the Sassafras Room - very quaint with original woodwork and antique decorations.
A new addition had all the amenities of home. On the main floor: a cozy library, living room, and sunroom that open into a great porch with beautiful views (perfect for stargazing). In the basement: a luxurious TV/movie room, a fitness center, and a game room. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to stay.
